Most horrible manager ever. He kept turning away customers from entering and sitting in the dining area while the bar had sparse seats. And literally kicked out a group of five for being in the dining area while only wanting to order drinks. Also, he tried to shorten the amount of time people were sitting at the bar to accommodate for a UFC Fight that nobody seemed to care about. The individuals working here seemed to have a serious and somber demeanor with him around. Other times I have been here everybody was always kind and talkative and fun to be around. He just killed the vibe.

This was my first time there, I may not go back again. My friend and I got some drinks from the bar, his round. He pays with a $20, and the waitress tries to give back change as if he gave $10. I don't know if it's an honest mistake, but we had it resolved and it was no longer an issue While standing in next to the bar, with plenty of space, a waiter drops some liquid on the back of my pants and boots. He says a small apology on his way past. I wait for a few minutes for an employee to pass by when I ask for the manager. The manager arrives, I explain the situation. He asks what I want. I wanted them to do the bare minimum of cleaning the thing up. I don't want to have to ask for courteous service. Then the idiot comes back to clean up the floor, while I'm left to clean up my own Palladium boots. As I'm speaking to the manager, security is standing right behind him, facing our direction. What was his deal? Maybe trying to intimidate me, or keep his boss safe? I don't know. Security never lingered around the manager the rest of the night. I didn't think much of it then, but the whole ordeal annoys me, as I compare the service to other bars, clubs, lounges. In the years of night outings, I've never had an employee spill anything on me. I thought the polite thing is to clean me off. I don't know what the manager did to the employee, but I saw him continue working through out the night.

Went to Dillon's on a Friday night because my friends and I wanted to go somewhere different, so we travelled out. Overall it was a good time. Arrived about 9PM, parked and entered with no trouble. Sat at a table for some drinks and food and everything was really good. Ordered an Irish Car Bomb and a Guinness (of course) and the Margarita Pizza. After closing our tabs and eating we went down to the other bar and dance floor. The music was really good playing a little bit of everything. Ordered a couple more drinks with no trouble. Bar tenders were quick and friendly. There is an outside area but you can't bring drinks out there it's a nice patio to get some air and socialize. The only issue is the path to the restroom, dance floor and exit/entrance to outside is all in one spot causing traffic and people to get pushy trying to get through. This place is a little pricy but it was something different and I would go back. No cover!

One year later and Dillon's goes from 5 stars to 1. I went there last night with my friend for happy hour. Here is how it all went down.... Walked in... no one at the front, no host and no other guests. Waited 5 minutes before someone finally came and said, can I help you? Well DUH! I would like to be seated!! I decided to sit in the bar area to watch the baseball game. Over towards the bar, there were three guys, one you could tell was COMPLETELY intoxicated. He tried to say something to me but his speech was so slurred, I couldn't understand what he was saying. The staff, in general, are really cool! The waitress and bartender were super nice! The manager, can't say much for him but I'll get to that... More obnoxious guys come to join the current group of drunk fools. My friend and I decide to move to the other side of the bar because they were being SO loud and obnoxious. At one point, I wondered if we were on that show, "Restaurant Stakeout" because the way those guys were acting was way beyond belief. They were acting like idiots, dancing, videotaping each other, drinking and talking about how drunk they wanted to get. The worst part, none of the staff did anything to quite them down. All the other guest kept looking at them like, WTF! I made a few comments to the bartender but still... nothing. Apparently, one guy (the really intoxicated one) had been in there since 11AM DRINKING. I got there around 5:30...what does that tell you? He was so belligerent, that his friends finally made him sit down and drink water. Sure enough, they had to escort him to the restroom because he tossed his cookies. On the way to the restroom, one of the other drunk idiots stops by and said to us, "Do you want to see his d..k?" I was like WTF!!!! I'VE HAD IT!!! I go to the front, ask for the manager. The host says, "Oh he's in the back." So I tell her, I need to speak to him now. I tell him what happened and he says, "Sorry. I'll ask them to leave." As he's walking off he says, "Peace out"...peace out??? WTF! What kind of RUDE JERK did they hire as a "manager"!!!! So he heads to the restroom, says something to the drunk fools. Did they leave, NO! I was so disgusted by the whole event that we didn't even get to finish our meal and we left....should have not paid for the bill but we did. First of all, he's not a manager if he's sitting in the back doing absolutely NOTHING! He doesn't think about the other customers that are there trying to enjoy themselves. But then he probably didn't care because those guys were more than likely his friends. Usually is the case... And what the heck was up with the jeans and t-shirt? Everyone else is in uniform so I would have never guessed that he was a "manager". I feel bad for the few people that work there because they are nice...but NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE!!!

First sign that this establishment might not be up to par was the fact that whoever answered the phone couldn't give clear directions to the place. After tech failed us and we walked all around the shoppes we called. We were told they were right next to trader joes and forever 21. How about saying they were a few doors down from H&M? Then we were sat and ignored for 10 minutes. We had food menus but no beer menus. Waitress had no idea what the diff between an red ale or a brow ale nor could she make a recommendation. Thought that might be partly the bars fault for not having a wide variety of beer which is shameful for a pub. Service was slow. 10 minute to get noticed. 20 minutes to get our beers. That came in plastic cups. Yes, plastic cups as if we were tailgating at a ball game. Another 20 minutes to get our food. Shepherds pie was all mashed potatoes with ground lamb just on the sides to make it look like there was filling and some low grade cheddar cheese melted in top. Not acceptable for $13. Burger and fries were ok, nothing impressionable. I don't know how long this place as been open but I'm surprised that it's still in business. It has a totally trashy feel that is topped off with bare ass cheeks hanging out of the micro mini skirts the waitresses wear.

My wife had been here twice before and she walked out both times due to poor service but that was a few years ago shortly after they opened so things must have gotten better...right??? Wrong!!! We walked in about 6:30 on a week night and the crowd was minimal with most everyone at the bar, so we grabbed a small table in the bar area. 10 minutes later someone finally came and took our drink order. Things were not looking good, but our drinks came pretty quickly although it went downhill from there. We laid our menus down and expected a waitress to take our food order but it never happened. In the meantime we were entertained by the hostess twirling around with some funky dance moves between looking at her cell phone and a drunk lady falling off her barstool. The manager sure jumped when that happened but that was it. 25 minutes later we finished our drinks, paid for them and left. Luckily, the Kickin' Crab is right next door and offers great food and service. We asked our waiter if he regularly gets customers who have walked out of Dillons. His answer, yep, all the time. Enough said.

This is a great place to come drinking ...drinks start at $6 and there's a lot of room to hang out. Tips: - Have ur order ready otherwise the bartender will move on. They will reach max capacity so be prepared to wait in line. - Everytime you re-enter you will have to show ur ID Service can be a little slow...I ordered the Beer Battered Onion Rings $6 which were nothing to rave about...but they are huge...one order comes with 5 rings...i've never seen such big ones. They'll also rush you to close out your tab even if you're staying. So while there are pros and cons it's still a great place to hang out with very affordable drinks

Went on Friday to chill and have some drinks, haven't been there in a while but when I got there it was like a club / bar and they were only playing 90's lame hip hop music playing. I was expecting Dillion's to be like before just Irish pub.

It's only been about a month since its grand opening in Chino Hills, and the management is certainly experiencing growing pains already. Since it's the only cool, trendy pub in the suburbs of Chino HIlls, this place gets way too packed on a Friday night. They need to decide: are they primarily a sit-down dinner place? Or a full-fledged bar? It seems like they're trying to be both, and failed at the former. The facilities are very large--but my party of 14 had a very difficult time getting seated and served--the management was largely to blame. We figured that our large party might be a problem, so we stopped by to talk to them earlier that week to ask if a reservation for 14 would be feasible on Friday. They said, sure, just come early and we should have no problem. We took their word for it, and arrived early just as they suggested. The full party was present by the reservation time, but no table. We hung out in the patio, but our group was far too large for that area. Other groups were hovering near us waiting for us to leave so they could snag our one outdoor table. About two hours of standing around with drinks from the bar and three appetizers later, we learned that they have no table for us. Why didn't they tell us that to begin with? At that point, we were contemplating leaving to another restaurant -- it was after 10 PM and we were starving. So, since they had promised us a table, the manager says all they can do is seat us outside. They added more tables in a haphazard diagonal shape (which blocked the walkway) and served us outside. The food took forever and one dish was MIA for like 30 minutes. It was clear that they were understaffed and overwhelmed by our group. If they had told us about their lack of accommodations to begin with and spared us hours of waiting, they would have earned more stars. Some of the waiters were nice--but overall, there were lots of ups and downs of frustrations throughout the night. The only plus is their cheap drinks: 1 hard apple cider & 1 blue moon = $8. To sum up: it's a good place to grab drinks with friends but don't come here for an occasion--you may not be accommodated despite what the management says.

I've been coming here for 2 years. Today they decided to no let me in because im wearing shorts while it's 87 degrees out. They like gangster cholos more than people making a living now.

Service is absolutely horrible and I didn't know that a Irish pub really meant "a wanna be club". If I wanted to go to a club I would, but I wanted a chill at a "pub". Dillion's used to be an awesome place I would come every weekend, but recently it's turned to crap.

Came here two nights ago. Orders the sliders. Got sick. Plain and simple. Was in bed for 2 days. Folks stay away. Overpriced, crappy food and the waitresses are nothing but attitude. Funny thing is I was using a $50 gift card The manager had gives me for them screwing up my order last time I was there. Shall never return.

Far from an Irish Pub. This place is the Irish version of a Hooters. Waitresses wear tacky plaid skirts and the food is bland and nontraditional. This place definitely has an identity crisis. Pros: Beers and drinks are reasonably priced and an especially a good value. Large space with room to roam around. There are multiple bars and a nice outdoor seating section with ample heating. Service has improved upon my second visit. I understand this place is still getting its young legs underneath itself. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Cons: Learn how to pour a Guinness! That's the tell-tale sign of poor training, especially in an Irish Pub. It's an art and a fine craft and not being able to execute that is the cardinal sin for any remotely Irish watering hole. Back to the identity crisis... this place claims to be Irish but there beer selection and menu proves otherwise. Surprising for an "Irish Pub" that there were more Mexican and Domestic beers than there are Irish beers which is...interesting. As for the food, good luck finding anything authentic amongst the tuna tartar, hummus, grilled quesadillas, and jambalaya??? This place has the look but not the feel. They go for the traditional patina look of Irish pubs with low lights and dark wood. But then they throw loud house music and tv's everywhere which is fine for Yard House but not a pub. The Crowd is pretty mixed. I was okay with getting carded by the bouncer at the door. It was late on a Friday night. But what's with the other 5 bouncers walking around the restaurant. Is the crowd that rough? Kinda nervous about that. It's Chino Hills right? Overall I think this place lacks the identity and soul of a true Irish pub. Authenticity is definitely a thumbs down but if you're just looking for someplace with 5 dollar 22 oz beer and aren't planning on eating, this place might be for you. It's funny to think that if they served Lucky Charms it would actually make this place more Irish.

No wait on a Sun. Service was satisfactory. We had mac n cheese sliders, bbq bacon burger, and both were good. But the wings were AWESOME. I almost licked the plate. Something in that sauce was addicting! Prices were a little high. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind coming back.

I've come here multiple times for a round of beers with my friends & every time has been just as pleasant as my last. Cheap beers all day, yummy appetizers (that's all I've really tried) & even a free dessert on your birthday! Waitresses' are all nice & I've never had a problem from what I remember. My friends & I are def returning on numerous times in the future.

This place was empty when we walked it but it had a great ambiance so we gave it a try for lunch. The food was blah. I don't know how you could ruin a grilled cheese and soup but they did. We left thinking we'll probably never come back... Well the food is now wreaking havoc on our stomaches. Definitely will never be back!

Stopped in here on an early Saturday night. Very busy with basketball and hockey playoff games going, first stop was right behind the draft beers, I began to drool at all the great beer they had on draft, at least 20, had my eye on the Harp and the Smithwick's. I was looking around for somebody to please pour me a beer, when a lovely waitress suggested the back bar. Make her the manager! Nice of her to be aware of our needs. All the staff came into contact with was friendly and helpful. The back bar was not busy, and we were served. Liked both beers, but particularly the Harp, reasonably priced at $5 for a large, about 22 ounces. Plenty of TVs here. Beautiful patio area, where we got busted for taking our drinks out to enjoy. My bad! The manager politely explained that the patio was temporarily closed for drinking, but should be open soon. The whole bar had a laid back casual feel to it. We left early, but would like to bring my lady back for dancing or UFC fights in the future.

This place has the potential of being a great place... But it's the opposite of great!! The food is not good ;( I wanted authentic fish an chips but it wasn't ... I think it was tilapia. Very weird crowd in this place ... Strange mixture of people. Waitresses look like ex-hooters employees.

I normally don't have high expectations for bar and grills so I will keep this review simple: 1. Food 2/5 2. Beer selection 3.5/5 3. Well drink quality 3/5 4. Overall price for quality 2/5 5. Service 2.5/5 I have a note about the service. The servers were really nice at first but after the first round she didn't come around again even though it was a Sunday night. In conclusion, this is a good place to grab a drink with friends on a busy Saturday night but don't get food and don't expect much on the device side

Horrible bartender. Slow. Slow. Slow. The prices on the menu are not what they will charge you for food. Any other bars opening soon around here?

Service super friendly, beautiful interior, great beer, happy hour prices excellent. Ordered chicken Marsala, not expecting amazing (this is an"Irish" bar after all) and it was actually tasty. The bread that accompanied the dish was delicious... Could have eaten a whole plate of that.

Not sure why people are giving this place a bad rap because my buddies and I had an awesome experience here catching game 4 of the Lakers vs. OKC game (given the loss, damn it..) The night was pretty busy but our server Gina remained on point with service and kept checking on us which was cool. She even split the check 4 ways for us, yeeaah buddy.. 22 ounce draft beers were only $5! Food was good too, we ordered the Dillons Platter and everything tasted really good. My only negative was the selection of draft beers, I expected better selections especially for an establishment like this. This place is farily large with indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance and overall set up was very nice, spacey, with plenty of TVs, tables, and even a nice pool table area. Not sure how the set up is during regular season games because the TV sound was turned on entirely for the Laker game. Overall, I'd say Dillon's is a perfect spot for catching a sports game or simply to grab food and drinks with friends. Either way, give this place a shot.

Allow me to provide some context-- It was a nice bar. I didn't wait more than a couple minutes for the bartender to take my drink order. Plenty of tables. Big screen TV's for watching football. A DJ with a dance floor. AND this is an establishment where you can order a salad and eat it right at the bar. All things I enjoy.

Came here for a drink with a friend and we had horrible service. When we walked in there was no one to greet us a the front, so we walked straight to the bar. When we walked to the bar there was nobody there either. We walked through the restaurant looking for a server and even asked the two customers there if there was anyone working. After 10 min, we decided to knock on the kitchen door, when suddenly a blonde pregnant Shrek came out and just stared at us. We asked if we could order a drink and she said, "ok sit down". So I ordered one drink and left. She was NOT nice. My friend had been there a few nights before as well, and encountered the same rude bartender. definitely not coming back.

One of the few late night places open around Pomona. They have a limited night time menu which sucked as I wanted to try Irish food for the first time. Tried the appetizer platter, nachos, and onion rings. Everything tasted BELOW average. I was disappointed by the avocado fries. Really bland needed some zest or a good dipping sauce. And the cheese on the nachos was like ruuuubbah. PASS on the food here. At least the late night food. Come for the $3 beers. They even made micheladas for $3!

I was excited to hear that a new Irish pub was opening that had a much better ambiance than Shamrock's near my house in Chino Hills. That excitement was very short-lived, let me tell you. I've been three times. The first time I went with my friend, and we were seated at a table that pretty much hid us from everyone's sight, and with how busy it was, I tried convincing myself that it wasn't completely the waitress' fault that she was taking forever to get back to us. The second time I went with a coworker, and we got a seat at the bar. Wasn't that crowded, but it took the bartender about 15 minutes to notice our empty beer glasses, even though this guy was pouring the drinks RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. The third time I went with a date, and I had already pre-gamed as much as I possibly could before I would consider myself completely smashed. I ordered a cocktail, thinking it would do me in, and I think it actually killed my buzz. If there was any liquor in it, there wasn't a lot. And my date had to actually flag down a waitress to get the check. Given the horrible service (and I know I'm not crazy, because a lot of other people I've talked to have also griped about the monotony), I honestly feel my money would be better spent at the dumpy dive bar Shamrock's. I'm okay with going back to Dillon's, as long as it's on someone else's tab.

I came to Dillon's for the first time last Monday for Monday Night Football, and I have to say I was really impressed. It was pretty busy for a Monday Night with a cool crowd. The decor and the ambiance of the spot were really comfy. The food was excellent and the drinks were reasonably priced. Our server was not only beautiful but very attentive, even the manager made time to stop by are table to see how everything was going and was very courteous. That type of service is lacking in most nightspots nowadays... What more can you ask for? I will definitely go back and check it out on a weekend sometime. From I hear it's pretty good...

We were extremely pleased with our experience at Dillion's Irish Pub on St. Patty's Day (March 17th 2012). For being their Grand Opening day they really had their staff well prepared. We ordered the Kobe beef sliders, calamari, hot wing and deep fried avocado appetizer which was very good. We drank Guinness and IPA beer which come in either 16oz or 22oz. Beer was ice cold, just the way we like it. For our entrees we had the Corn beef with grilled cabbage & roasted red skin potatoes and Shepherd's Pie with garlic bread. The pie was made with lamb. Yummy. Everything we had was delicious. The servers, runners and managers were walking around making sure all customers were happy and that the restaurant was keeping clean. I highly recommend Dill ion's for some yummy food and cold beer. We can't wait to come back.

Came here with a group of classmates on a Friday night. Drink prices are awesome and I even got a free drink with a yelp check in. Awesome! We came early around 830 and it was a good mellow crowd. It wasn't too loud and my friends got to play a couple games of pool. I noticed a different crowd coming around 10pm. Girls in short shorts and heels and guys wearing gallons of cologne.. Also seemed to be an increase in bouncers/security throughout the place. So I guess it must get more festive in the later hours. I feel bad for the waitresses wearing their little outfits and getting crap and stares from the male crowd. I think they should get some good looking male servers in kilts for the ladies!!! Shocked to see a long line to get in when we left around 1230 because honestly there was not much going on inside. But I guess there aren't many options in chino hills. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely come back.

This was a tough call deciding on a three or four star review. If I hadn't been to Ireland then I would have scored a four but walking into Dillon's I was hoping it would have remnants of the island. What makes Irish pubs great is the music and melodies, but more importantly, the warmth, and energy that a really good pub should have so I hope they look into adding Irish music. Both times I've gone I've ordered the Fish & Chips (which weren't bad but a little heavy on the batter and also salty) and complimented it with a pint of Guinness. The wait staff both times have been nice and service seems to have improved since the beginning because everyone looks to be pitching in to help. We haven't tried it on Friday or Saturday night but hear it gets full but I've enjoyed the plethora of TVs and they are friendly when you ask them to change the channel.

Poor service. I was kicked out of seat by a bouncer. Before I finish my food . The reason was to set up the dancer floor. I wasn't even given a heads up. I will never return.

Went here last night for my brother's birthday. We ordered the 28 oz steak that was supposed to be too much food. What we did'nt realize was that the steak came with a rib bone attached. All in all, that steak was at most 12 oz if that at all. For $45 I would have expected more for that price. The rest of the food was fine, but pricey. And even though I mentioned it several times, no one wished my brother a happy birthday or brought him a complimentary cookie or cake. I know it's not a big deal, but I felt like that was a really cold thing. We could have gone to Red Robin and gotten him a whole hamburger for free. Food was average, ambience is always nice, service was average. But I think that I'm going to stop returning here. Yardhouse is just as nice and much more friendlier place.

hey, $5 for a 22 oz beer on tap, imported ones too, what's there to complain? nice atmosphere, good services... patio is really nice too that you can smoke with the heated lamps around! i never really eat there... only the appetizers and they are just okay... i agree that it's far from an Irish Pub... the first time i went and we all asked for 'green beer' and the waitress looked confused. oh well, cheap beer and close to home! i'll go back.

My boyfriend took me here for lunch and everything was decent. I'm not sure if I'd come here again for the food-- but the atmosphere was cool and I can see how this is a cool place to hangout and come for drinks at night. I ordered the fish and chips and I wasn't totally impressed. It's hard to find a place that does fish and chips well and this place is another one that just kind of missed the mark. The breading was a bit thick, although the fish itself was pretty good. It came on the biggest pile of fries I have ever seen-- I finished less than half! My boyfriend ordered the shepherd's pie which was much, much tastier. Everything tasted spot-on! The portion sizes for both dishes was also really, really great for the price. My boyfriend also loved the beer menu.

Came by for a Friday evening celebration at 11 pm, and there was a line out the door. Fortunately, the line moved quickly. Drinks were average priced...$6-7 for beers and $8 for Jack & Coke. The DJ was playing your usual Top 40 garbage near the back of the restaurant/pub, but closer to the entrance, you could still have an audible conversation by the sit-down tables. As an added bonus, there was talent behind the bar counters! I.e. short skirts, dresses.

Crappy service. Brought the wrong card back to us and took forever to find the waitress. They need to get their act together

Business is good which is great for the pub. I'm assuming a the don't usually have a line because the line gets fatter while security is watching people line hop to join in the front. Can't say anything about the inside yet since I've been waiting in line for about an hour. Will update later.

We went back to Dillons for dinner and to check out the regular menu this time. Had the fried avocado for appetizers. Corned beef and cabbage for dinner with Irish stew. Wife had chicken fettuccine. Also had more bread pudding. Service was good. She was very attentive and she kept coming back to check on us. Better experience than the last one for sure.

Went there today for the first time. Went in expecting to get good customer service; WRONG!! Crappy customer service. Girls at the front desk are just plain rude and of NO HELP!!! Sad!!! Timing for getting food is just horrible.. had to wait 30 stinking minutes. Oh and the food.. wow talk abt "no flavor" super bland and boring food. Couldnt taste anything. Next time I know better. Dnt waste your time there's a million other places at the shoppes!

They suck at pouring beers, they only have 3 Irish beers, the music they play is horrible, furthest thing from an actual pub... Only reason they got 2 stars is because their service is decent.

Located at the edge of Chino Hills Shoppes, on the side of Victoria's Secrets. Met up with some friends after a long day and got a free beer from Yelp check-in (Thanks Yelp!!). They gave us some Irish nachos on the house - loved the crispy chips! Their avocado fries were delicious! Recommend as an after school/work hang out bar!

I've been brought here by friends over the years and this place is all right. They have a pretty wide selection of beers and the interior is pretty cool. I think the area needed something like this. But the main factor for this place is service; it can be very inconsistent. Sometimes you could sit at a fairly empty bar and not get served for a while. But sometimes you can get really good service and your drinks could be served quickly and efficiently. You just don't know what you'll get. It's a nice place to check and as I said, a welcome addition to the area but I wish they could work on the service consistency.

I was super excited when Dillon's opened and as soon as I got the chance I took a girlfriend with me for dinner. Both of us were so disappointed. The service is horrible, all the servers (wells ours especially) are too busy checking out the customers or chatting with each other. It took forever for us to get menu's, we had to ask for silverware, our drinks were late in coming, our order was super late and cold. We had to return it and waited another 15 minutes. Bad bad bad. They lost 2 customers.

I'm starting to dislike it when it's crowded with losers who get too drunk and rowdy. When it's not too crowded I enjoy my fireball shots, and dance the night away. The food is good, I love the avocado fries, the buffalo chicken wrap, but the corned beef and cabbage there is just ok. The corned beef is cut pastrami style, I expected a piece of meat right out of the crock pot. Which is how I make it, and I think I make it better.

Not bad. Cheap beer $3-4. (Fat tire, Stone IPA, Hangar 24, Stella Artois, Bud etc) Not craft but not completely piss beer either haha Foods super expensive and not that amazing... TVs are also set up everywhere so its great if you wanna watch UFC or Basketball/Baseball/Football etc. Basically come here for the beer and the hot waitresses haha and I'm sure you'll have a decent time lol

I visited the night of the Mayweather-Canelo fight. $20 admission, but was given some sort of "gift card" (my paid admission receipt) to spend there at any time. After the fight was over, it took AT LEAST 45 minutes to finally receive a menu, let alone get a waitress to finally stop at my table and ask if I needed anything. Several had walked by and looked at me numerous times, but still no service. Managers in slacks and shirts had also failed to give me any attention, despite seeing I had not been helped or served numerous times. Placing my order was fairly quick and the burger was decent after finally being helped though. My mac & cheese burger was a lot better than the first time I had tried it. I wanted it medium-rare, but it was more like medium and that was all right. My table was never wiped down by anyone.

Had breakfast for Mother's Day with the family and have to say the food was great and our waitress was fantastic. My wife and I both had the Irish Breakfast Platters and we all had the bottomless Mimosas so we were stuffed and had a good buzz walking out of there!

Worst service tonight I wish I would have known the name of our waitress but the sad thing Is... Is she never introduced herself. I wanted to give no stars... But idk if I could!! There was a long piece of hair in my Mac n cheese burger and we were done from there! The sad thing is we went there on a really busy night when to watch the UFC fight and our service was excellent maybe this girl was new and didn't know how to prioritize but the greatest thing was we didn't see. HER ass all night and she never hustled to wait on us or to see how we were doing but when it was time for the check she was speed racer then she even had the nerve to open up the black little folder thing that the check was in to see how much we tipped and yes bitch it wasn't even 10%.... Because your service sucked. I didn't see her hustle that fast all night only when the check came!! Sooo very disappointed! Here's a tip y'all check your burgers and make sure there's no hair In them

"There's no Happy Hour because every hour is Happy Hour" is what the waitress told me. My friends I come here every now and then to celebrate because the drink prices arn't that bad and also because they show all the sports games. This place is fairly large and can accommodate a lot of people. They also have a larger patio with heat lamps and cool flames coming out the tables. All in all, not too shabby on the food. I particularly like their mac and cheese burgers and their lettuce wraps. Another plus for all the men out there, the waitresses have this irish/catholic school girl outfit as their uniform. I would say some of their uniforms are borderline Hooter's status.

I love this place! They have good prices and plenty of room. It gets really packed on the weekends and I've had to stand in line every time I've gotten there around 11. It's definitely worth the wait though. The only thing that bums me out is that they never have Blue Moon which is my favorite. They redeem themselves with Shocktop though (:

So disappointing. I gave this restaurant more chances than they deserved, and every time I was let down. The food has disappointed me every time. And the service is just ok. On some occasions, the servers have been very sweet, but didn't pay a lot of attention to the service or details. But my last visit was the worst and put the nail in the coffin. The server was just plain rude and cynical, we waited over 20 minutes for our food, and there were only about 4 tables of customers at the time, and my order was incorrect. Of course, when I let my server know it was incorrect, she offered to correct it, but quite an attitude. Plus I was not willing to wait another 20 minutes.I recommend you don't even waste your time there.

Meh, C- for weekend brunch. The bacon is microwaved and so was my chilled Irish oatmeal. Plus, not being a fan of football, I needed to be here before the 10am game started...should've gone to Bravo Burger.

This place does not even deserve one star! The bouncers act like they are ready to fight you or kick you out and they just stared at the women we were with. The part that really got me mad was the bouncers took away our bar stools because we were not eating at the bar! We did not even finish our drinks ! Seriously???? That might be ok for some 21 year old but not for me and my friends. I was hesitant coming this time and I will never come back! And seriously all the pretty girls giving five stars work there so I hope other Yelpers notice that! Roy the manager is an idiot too! When I was asking why they took our stools he was trying to yell at me trying to get a reaction so he could have one of the. Door goons put me in a UFC hold instead of saying here "have a drink on the house here is a table I hope you enjoy the rest of the night " this place sucks don't waste your money go to Yard House or BJ's down the street. I hope this place gets taken over by a 7-11

Came here for a Happy Hour and the place was pretty empty. There were a few people at the bar but the majority of tables were empty. We were seated on the upper level kind of isolated. We had two different servers one changed in the middle of our shift. They were pretty friendly. The thing about this place is the price. They are a little pricey for the appetizer menu. There were some items that were more than an entree, which made no sense to me. The food was good. The mac and cheese burger was different but not bad. I really did enjoy the calamari. I would probably come here again. The one thing that did bother me was there was a fly that kept buzzing around it. I'm thinking it might be due to the farmers market but that was a little disturbing. We did get a free drink with our yelp check-in but was questioned about what it was and I had to give the manager my phone to verify it.

I wouldn't recommend this place for drinks. I was here last night for a girls night and I was pretty disappointed. I bought two drinks that are normally strong drinks. 10 bucks a piece and not even a buzz. Waste of money and poorly made drinks. They tasted like juice and soda.

I had never heard of Dillon's until last night, my sisters and friends got together to celebrate a friends birthday. We had heard mixed reviews about the place, and were iffy about attending. But to our surprise, it turned out to be a great chill hangout spot! The ambiance is great for groups of friends to get together! We enjoyed a few drinks, and an appetizer while we were at the bar. The customer service was great, no complaints here. Our group later moved towards the back of the restaurant were there was another bar, and a dj mixing everything from Michael Jackson, to the Beatles, to Mana...awesome! The whole establishment is nice, clean, and great all around. The main bar at the entrance has tvs, no matter where you sit you have a good view of the tvs. One thing that did surprise me, my sister and I had to step out to the car, and the security guard told us the he would hold on to our drivers license and upon returning we would walk right up to the front of the line and not have to wait in line. I thought that was pretty awesome of them to do! So no worries if you have to step out for a bit, just live your id with the security at the front door. Our whole group enjoyed this establishment hands down, and we cannot wait to go back!

I don't care if the service at bars are good or not, i just want my beer cold and food hot and good. Which Dillons does a good job with. We walked in and sat at a table, then watched as waitresses and managers kept walking by us and after about 10 minutes we finally got service. We ordered a bunch of appetizers that were tasty. There are TVs all over so it is a good spot to watch a game. The one thing that stuck out that night was watching one of the managers make several drinks for a private party, looked like Kir Royales. When he finished making them I guess he wanted to see how they came out so he takes a drink out of one of the glass flutes and puts it back down, then proceeds to serve all of them to the party waiting for their toast drinks. I guess he doesn't like using a straw to sample his drinks, good thing we only ordered beers.

(Edited version) This place SUCKS!! First off we drove from corona to come to this quarter full bar only to get turned away by some wannabe security guards cause my bf was wearing sandals and a hat (mind you I was wearing sandals) the "bouncer" told me I was ok but my bf had to change shoes and take his hat off....one of our friends had a extra pair of shoes he loaned my bf for the 45 minutes we were in there. What's really good is that he told my bf that there was glass in there and he didn't want him to step on any....really?! So it's ok if I step on something? Take your excuses elsewhere! So we finally get in and to our surprise there were so many people wearing sandals and hats!!! Are they serious?! My bf wanted to say something but I didn't want to cause a scene, I should have let him!! So what they were really saying is that its ok for our friends to come in wearing whatever they want to wear, but if we don't know you, we will treat you like crap and turn your money away....I see, ok. I just forgot what it was like to be a part of a high school clique or fraternity! Anyway, One of my friends (out of 6 of us) was waiting on two people to show up, so two drinks down they come and in a matter of 3 minutes we were asked to move 3 times!! At that point, after shoving us into a small corner in the bar (8 good looking people) I was done! I will NEVER go back and you better believe I will NEVER tell anyone to go there....I'm a bartender and know a ton of people so I hope that place enjoys all there lame ass clientele!!!

This place is a cool spot in chino hills but here are some flaws. The bouncers at the door need to relax, its a Irish pub, not a fancy club in Hollywood. There was 1 female bartender who was a complete bitch. Of course i continued to get my drinks from her because its amazing how many girls she managed to piss off all 3 times i went to get a drink. It was unnecessary and so awkward being next to order but more amusing then anything. I was also hoping to hear Irish music since it is an Irish pub, DJ blasting the same old pop/hip hop mixes. I'm not sure if it was a DJ or an iPad, but with everyone drinking who cares after a few smithwicks. Also the atmosphere was uhh idk i wish it was a different crowd (place was filled with woman skimpy clothing and boys trying to pick fights with other boys) but that explains all the security they had. Now the positives. The waitress' & waiters were really nice. The place is huge loved the space. Good place to hang with friends cheap beer is a plus. I heart smithwicks! 3 stars because I had good time with my friend.

Well change your manners and service , I really don't care for sarcastic comments. Learn how to use the internet lingo and space . ;-)

Is it me or is there nothing very Irish about this pub? The servers were in cute outfits and they were all very friendly. We got the nachos, a slider, and deep fried avocados. They were all Okay. They turn up the music too loud. Trying to talk to friends in there was like trying to talk to them in a club. This is an okay place to grab some drinks with friends, but I would not come here for the ambiance or the food.

This is the first pub I went to in Chino Hills. Maybe, it's the only pub in the suburbs here? We got their fried avocados, Mac and Cheese sliders, and nachos. They were all really meh. There wasn't anything special about the fried avocados. The Mac and Cheese sliders seemed pretentious, something just didn't taste right in my opinion. I can't pinpoint it. So, their food was underpar. However, they got good prices for beer. My friends played pool here and that was fun to watch. Otherwise, I'd prefer some other places nearby for happy hour instead.

been here 3 times, on a 5 scale service 2-5 food .5-5 atmosphere 4-5 food needs Chef Ramsey to give it a tune-up, I eat before I go there. Mexican food at A Irish bar? Overpriced bar food and way to many bouncer for Chino Hills bar.

Skimming through the reviews it seems like the food may be the problem. Fortunately, I ate elsewhere and went to Dillon's afterwards to meet up with some co-workers. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive...It is really loud but it is a bar? The good ones usually are. If you are single there a ton of other singles perusing. Go to Dillons for drinks, you will not be disappointed

After Dillon's being open for a year i finally was able to experience a fun friday night (3/22/13) this past weekend. We arrived around 9:30pm, and it was already starting to fill up with people quickly. We had a party of 10 which eventually grew as the night got later; we had to wait maybe almost an hour or so to be seated despite the fact that we could easily view tables that were open for a long period of time....We were finally sat and had several chairs missing because of the amount of ppl already occupying the place but it was not much of a big deal to us guys like to stand anyway. Our server/waitress was NICOLE, who honestly was amazing. I have worked as a server in the past and it truly gets overwhelming when you have to focus and keep tabs with so many people. However, NICOLE did a really great job making sure we were comfortable and if we ever wanted to order any more drinks. She was with us for more than 3 hours, was consistent and polite, she demonstrates excellent quality customer service. She even went out of her way at the end of the night to thank me personally for the tip i left her (not most servers would actually do that), she deserved it! I am so happy and glad we had her as our server, because i am sure had it been someone else they probably would have not paid as much attention to us. I will return in the future and hope to find that NICOLE is still there, or that i am able to experience the same service from another server. THANK YOU NICOLE, YOU ARE A SWEETHEART AND YOU WERE AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Came here early Friday eve. with a group of friends for appetizers and drinks only. We were lucky to find a table in the back bar area. Appetizer menu wasn't impressive but we did see the avocado fries were mentioned on yelp so we gave them a try. Ended up too mushy to stand up to the label of fries. Calamari was just so so. All in all I would come back for the Hangar 24's and give it another go. I'll say this much, there was definitely a bouncer overload

Wasn't worth the wait. We went on a Friday early evening, told it would be a 45 min. wait so we walked around inside and out and found some tall tables in the back bar area. Ordered a couple of drinks and then our "pager" went off so we went up front to be seated. Guess where they sat us? Right where we had been sitting all along! Menu lacks oomph...we won't go back.

I must agree with J.B. Went here tonight 3/29/12 and the place was not too busy, seated right away. The ambiance was nice. The inside of the place looked great. The bars are nice and plenty of room for drinks. However, the problem is the food. We ordered burgers and they were sad. Very bland and unremarkable. Service was horrible as well. Took close to 10 mins for a server to take our drink order and then easily 20+ mins to get our food. I am unlikely to return for food as a result. We even had a table ask to buy our leftovers as we walked out since they had been sitting for 20 mins without any service at all. I may return for drinks since the bar area is nice and beer is cheap.

Starting to be our go-to bar after Ddoger games with my friend since we live nearby. Overall decent service but it's still a Chino Hills area bar so don't expect anything outstanding although a few of the bartenders are very friendly and willing to experiment with different drinks. Prices are very good for pints $3 and tall $5 all day. Haven't tried their food but heard the breakfast was eh. I'll be back here because it's close and better than Shamrocks and wayyyy better than BWW....

Me, my boyfriend, and my family decided to go to Dillon's in Chino Hills since it was the grand opening on St. Patrick's Day. I originally was going to go to the one in Hollywood, but decided to go here since it's closer to where I live and it being brand new of course. It was nice inside, two bar areas, the one in the front being the main bar. The service was decent, although our drink and food orders took quite a while to get after we ordered, and we were ordering from several different people, not just one person in particular. They started off with good Irish music set for the occasion, but then ended up bringing in a DJ that was playing club type music which didn't fit the genre at all. And before the DJ, the music volume kept going up and down and even at one point, shut off all together. After a while, there was standing room only and it got so packed that I had to leave. I also had a gripe with the prices of the beer. At the Hollywood location, they sell all pints for $3, but at Chino Hills, they were $4. But upon looking at my bill, some pints were $3 and some were $4...hmmm. The bathrooms were new and clean, but seemed to be very small and lines were already forming out the front and you know how that goes. I was also disappointed with the advertisement from Dillon's stating there would be bagpipe players and leprechauns. I saw one bagpipe player and he said he was actually the cook! A bad think about this location is that the Chino Hills Police Department is just down the way, and they were crusing up and down the street when it wasn't even opened yet. Yes, I will probably go back, and hopefully it won't be so packed and a little more organized.

I attended the St Patty's day celebration. The pub was crowded even though i tried to beat the crowd at 10am. I was surprised by the number of bartenders and servers they had that day. still the crowd was so large it was hard to get a drink. It wasn't a problem though, the environment was great and the staff was really moving. The avocado fries were good and the Guinness was cold. The bar itself is beautiful. I will definitely be back.

Finally a non commercialized place to eat and drink. (no offense to BJs or Yard House) There was a very long line to get in since it was their Grand Opening on St Pattys Day. The waitress we had was very attentive and the drinks were on the strong side which is always a plus. Will definitely check it out again to watch a Lakers game or NFL game!

I was really excited to go to Dillon's for some reason and was a little disappointed. We went on a Wednesday night, so it wasn't even busy. We didn't see our waitress for probably a half hour and she finally came over because some other guy working there had to find her and get her. However, she was really nice and we got our food pretty quickly. I just got a side of garlic mashed potatoes and they were so good and pretty filling. I'll have to give this place another shot I guess.

After writing my past review, I was shocked to actually get a email for the Corporate Regional Manager Kimberly.. She was very nice, and promised to check into it. She says she reviews all Yelp reviews and will do everything she can to make any complaints at Dillions right.. I find any place that actually has someone who takes any negative reviews on Yelp serious, is worth going back to again.. Looking forward to my next visit.. Thanks Kimberly ...

Well here it is, my first 1 star review and that's only because of the friendly staff. I knew going into the place that I might be disappointed because of the recent reviews of which most were 1 star. But the romantic in me hoped that there was a chance that this Irish Pub would live up its more positive reviews from a long time ago. For starters when I arrived at 10am on a Saturday there was only one other couple (who were just finishing their visit) in this rather large pub/restaurant. When my party left at noon there had been no new customers. Strange walking out of a restaurant of this size at lunchtime on a Saturday with no patrons. Now on to the food: just pass and order a Guinness instead (which sadly I did not do because it was too early for a beer). The breakfast I ordered had decent poached eggs but there is nothing good to say about the rest of the plate. Worse yet, there was an incredibly long hair on one of the pancakes on my wife's plate. Dillons tries to add some Irish flair by using corned beef (pretty much just shaved corned beef) instead of pork for the bacon. Unfortunately the corned beef did not have a palatable taste. Banger sausages were included and also not very flavorful. Overall I felt the reviews I read earlier were spot on describing the food. The only plus was the staff who were courteous and attentive. It was no wonder at all to me that my party of 4 was the only group of patrons in the restaurant for the duration of our one and only visit to Dillons.

We waited a couple months after this restaurant opened before trying it. Friendly hostess and we were seated immediately. It is loud but it is a pub so that was totally expected. Nice decor but our table was wobbly (someone had placed a folded piece of cardboard to try to steady it..didn't work). For as nice as the interior and exterior of this restaurant is, they should have invested a little more money in the menus. I felt like I was in Denny's or a diner of some sort. So we waited for our server...5 minutes goes by, a manager passes us. He passes us again and says "someone will be with you shortly". Another 5 minutes.... The guy at the table next to us gets up and says "I'm going to look for our server!" Another 5 minutes... We FINALLY see our server (15 minutes after we are seated) and she says "I will be back to take your drink order". OMG really? A couple minutes later she takes our drink order and we try to give her our order (since we came in just for appetizers) and she says "Let me just get your drinks first" (not that the drink order was complicated...a beer and glass of Chardonnay- very reasonably priced BTW). Another 10 minute wait to actually get our drinks and she finally takes our order. We ordered The Dillons Platter. Meh...I enjoyed my wine much more than the food. So, great place if you want to meet up for drinks with friends...not so great if you actually want to eat (or if you don't have a couple of hours).

I saw the mixed reviews on this place but ate here anyway. I had the Shepard's Pie. It was pretty darn good. The service was friendly. I did have to waive somebody down for refills a couple of times but this is a new business. My wife had fish and chips and said they were the best she's ever had. I did not see the bad service posted in some reviews. I just know that my wife and I had a nice meal and drinks for UNDER $30 which is rare, especially in a nice environment.

Not a place I would frequent often, but where else would you go for a perfectly poured black and tan? The chorizo nachos are great and the service wasn't bad at all for being so busy. This is my second visit to Dillon's. I'd rather come here than RA. Maybe on par with the Yard House.

Went here to hang out with friends over beers, cocktails and food. We shared the mac n cheese sliders and the buffalo wings. I had the snakebite and Jeff had two rounds of blue moons. The mac 'n cheese sliders were a good concept although it lacked in flavor, in our own opinion. I'd probably come back here for a drink or two and maybe try something else on the menu. But this time, I'd rather sit at the bar where I could probably get better service.

whatta huge letdown... if i wasnt such an alcoholic i would give this place one less star. the service is decent, waitress was pretty funny but man the food was crap. i didnt know you could mess up an onion ring but apparently you can. I dragged a few of my friends out here too and almost had the need to tell them i was sorry for taking them there. They just sat there and ate theyre food and pretended it was good so they dont make me feel bad for robbing them of an overpriced meal. Ill give this place another chance... its early and hopefully the food gets better later. the venue is pretty awesome and the atmosphere is pretty cool too but damnit why cant the food be equivalent to the rest of the place. just come here for drinks, dont eat... youll thank me later

The woodwork throughout bar is beautiful. Love the atmosphere!vHowever, the food is not anything special. Every time I go, I feel that I've had better and I don't know why I tried it again. The beer is good, the service is good but that's it.

Decor and layout of bar and tables was nice and feels very open. Outside patio was great with easy access to parking structure and easy access to a bar. The firepits were a nice touch. Atmosphere was pretty dull. Background music was not entertaining and inconsistent. Sometimes there was music. Sometimes there was none. Have not tasted food. But friends said it was terribly bland. Service was not great.

My family and I went into Dillon's last week for dinner, this was my first time there. The food was excellent and the service was very tentative. Diane was a server for our table and she was amazing. She was very friendly and her service made our stay that better. If you go to Dillion's please ask for Diane! She's the best!! As far as the food goes I ordered a BLT sandwich and it was a huger serving. You get like 4 sandwiches in one order. For sides I ordered the steak fries which were yummy. Drinks I ordered a vodka tonic and they put extra shots in our drinks for $3 more. The drinks were amazing as well.

The restaurant itself is very beautifully designed. We had lunch there today and although the fried avocado appetizer was very tasty, the cheeseburger with macaroni on top was just okay and the pork chop was rather tough. The staff was very friendly, but the service was still pretty slow (I'm sure they're ironing out the kinks since they haven't been open too long). The music was good (I love a little old Elvis Costello). Overall, the food was okay, but we won't be rushing back to eat there. The bar area seemed nice if you're just going in for drinks.

Myself and a few coworkers arrived for lunch. We were kept waiting for a longtime before our order was taken. We were kept with waters for over 20 minutes. The tables are too small for the width of the booth. You're constantly stretched out with your arms while sitting. Waiting for 20 minutes drinking water can definitely start hurting your back the way they set up their booths. We finally get our order taken, we then wait another 30 minutes for cold overly greasy entrees. The Irish Hatchet (26 oz. bone in ribeye) was so cold the fat was solidified on the steak once we received it. The bone was also over 10 inches long pretruding out of the steak which was extremely unnecessary and obtrusive as it took up way too much room on the dinner table. The sides were bland and borderline cold when we received them. Do not come here for lunch. Sub par service, terrible food and bad experience overall.

Very nice and inviting looking place...I had much higher expectations. For an Irish Pub we expected to see a greater beer selection and more of an Irish menu. I had the corned beef and cabbage which was very dry. My drink was tiny and very light on the alcohol... It wasn't horrible, but I am not in any hurry to go back. Sorry Guys, I much prefer the Yard House.

Went last night (Friday) around 8pm for drinks.. definitely PACKED the only reason we got seats at the second bar in back was because our son was already there with a couple of friends. Loud, cheap beer/ and skill requirement to flag down bartender for drinks. Not a bad experience so's long as you don't mind/enjoy a boisterous atmosphere. Will be back.

Good food - but very loud! Very good and attentive service. I would go back midweek for dinner - but anytime to visit the bar. Avacoado Fries are different, but good.

I've been here a few times during the day. The bar staff has always been courteous and efficient despite the fact that they don't know how to pour a proper Guinness. Most recently we went in for a few drinks on a Saturday night. Apparently this "Irish Pub" turns into a club on weekend nights. Most bars make you show an ID at the door, but this place actually makes you wait behind a line while each person individually approaches the bouncer like you're going through a TSA screening. I don't know if they have had trouble in the past, but they seem to have a ton of gigantic security staff waiting for something bad to happen. This makes for an uneasy vibe. That said, they all seem to be very professional. If you're looking for tradition out of this Irish pub I would probably look elsewhere. If you're looking for a dance club without a cover that carries your standard domestic drafts this is your spot.

OK so I hate to be giving a 1 star to a spot that I can have a drink at that's down the street from my house. But I think the only reason it deserves that 1 star is because it does have a pretty good variety of Beer on tap that I like. Beer is the ONLY reason why I would ever come here, and maybe to be reunited with everyone that has lived in chino hills for most of there lives. My sister, my dad, and I went here to finally try it out on a afternoon where no one was really there finally. We got sat quickly and we got stuck with a newbie chick that couldn't even take a order down without having a supervisor by her side and making us repeat it 3 times. Our drinks took forever to get to us, and they totally screwed up every part of our order you could imagine. My pops ordered the mac'n'cheese burger, they brought him out a Philly cheese steak sand which that was dryer then the waitress ashy elbows. My sister ordered a wrap and fries, they gave her a wrong wrap and tomato soup. I ordered a side salad and fish and chips. They brought me out my side salad (with wrong dressing) and not my fish and chips, 45 minutes passed and I finally asked where was the rest of my meal. I could tell they forgot so when they brought out a plate of fish and chips you can tell they tried to deep fry the fish quickly and the center of the fish was still ice cold! I can understand if a establishment is packed with people and it take forever for food to come out, but when the spot is pretty empty and you get ALLLL the orders wrong, that's when you know you guys are fucked up and we just made a bad decision to come here. I really think it was the worst experience Iv ever had at a new spot. I shall never eat here again, but maybe one late night I may just get talked into coming in and having a couple cold ones with some chino hills clans. Hope this review is helpful.

Spoiler alert (something really stinky) I usually dont leave a review for a restaurant, unless I had a terrible or awesome experience. In this case, it was the most unthinkable. I have came to Dillon 's about 4 times, once dine - in and 3 times carryout, never had any complaint. On September 7th, 2014, 7:30pm. I phoned in an order of Irish hatchet (32 Oz rib eye with a big piece of bone) with mash potato and satayed vegetables. Once I picked up the order and brought to my car, I noticed this very unusual stink. I was thinking back of my head, a restaurant at this magnitude wouldn't serve spoiled meat. So when I got home, my wife noticed the stink too, I took one bite, and the meat was sour. I took the spoiled meat back, asked for the manager, he didn't really feel too sincere or apologetic about this situation. The chef definitely knew the meat was spoiled before it was grilled, and the manager should have noticed the stink when wrapping the meat in foil. My car even stinks after 24 hrs. Someone needs to be fired, either the manager or the cook or both. Guess they don't check or care about their yelp reviews.

It's not the most authentic Irish pub, but it's my top choice of a pub for Chino Hills. I love coming with my best friend or a date for dinner and drinks. Afternoons and weekdays are best if you want to avoid crowds. Weekends after about 10pm it turns into a typical American dance party. (They carded us at the door. Hello? This is a food establishment! And then they carded us again when we ordered our drinks. I said, "I swear I haven't changed my age since we arrived!") My favourite dishes are fish & chips, corned beef, traditional Irish stew, and shepherd's pie. But they also serve American food such as burgers there. The drinks are varied, but of course I usually go for Newcastle and Guinness.

My boyfriend and I stopped by Dillon's because we were bored and wanted to grab some beers. We first decided on Dillon's because we thought that we would be able to hang out outside with our beers in the patio area, but apparently they do not let alcoholic beverages outside their doors. It was disappointing that we could not sit outside with our beverages, but we decided to stay because they had a $1 off a beer promotion through Yelp. If it wasn't for the promotion I probably would not have stayed. The waitresses and waiters were very friendly and attentive. They frequently checked up on our table to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything. However, the food wasn't as nice as the service. We ordered the macaroni and cheese sliders ($14). Fourteen dollars for something I could have made at home for less than five dollars (AND it probably would've tasted better!). I don't know what I was expecting when I ordered the macaroni cheese sliders, but I was definitely more curious than satisfied at the end of the meal. Overall, I'd go back for a beer or two if there's a Yelp promotion going on. If it wasn't for the friendly service, I'd probably give this place one star based solely on the food.

This place is a good hang out spot. The food is not great... but it's good bar food. Kind of expensive though. I tried the mac and cheese burger (best out of the meal) with shoestring fries, and the appetizer platter with buffalo wings, pulled pork slider, salmon slider, calamari and avocado fries. The avocado fries sounded interesting, but it ended up being nothing special. I think the waitress forgot the dip. She was friendly and helpful though. What's great here is the beer prices! 3 dollars for 16oz and 5 dollars for 22oz. The place gets packed and loud. Come early to save a table. The outside patio has two big tables on each end with a fire pit thing in the center. I can't comment on the inside because I briefly walked through. Free parking on the side structure and in the back... don't need to park in the metered parking in the front. The waitress brought bread pudding dessert for the bday boy. It was topped with a mountain of ice cream and whipped cream!

I honestly don't know why I kept coming here for so long. I guess I just hoped that one day service would be good. The food here is okay, nothing special. The drinks are average price as well. The service here SUCKS! Workers are slower than molasses!

This place is a complete joke. Hands down the worst service I have ever experienced. A couple girlfriends and I went out for drinks on St. Patrick's Day and chose to come here, once we got in we stood at the bar for at least 15 to 20 minutes before we were even asked for our drink orders. It was very clear we were waiting, two of the bar tenders watched us walk up and wait. They then walked past us, looked at us and did literally everything else before we were helped. Since it was clear that no one was going to do their damn jobs and ask if we wanted to order drinks, a friend of mine finally asked if we could order, one of the blonde bartenders looked at us rolled her eyes and had the ugliest attitude while taking our orders (which were only two drinks, by the way) and starred us down while we were signing the bill. What are you waiting for? A tip? PLEASE! I will never come here again, the drinks and the bar itself aren't even that great and on top of that their service is horrible. Save yourself the trouble and go to literally any other bar in Chino Hills.

My review is only for the bar and not the resturant. I have been here a few times on a Saturday night and haven't had a bad time yet. There is typically a long line to get into Dillion's but my posse and I don't have to worry about that kind of stuff and we get right in. If I had to wait inline I probably would pass on this place. The crowd is young (20 something's) from the 909 & OC. The crowd is a hit or miss. I've seen some questionable characters but also some decent people. The bar scene itself is worth a try. My motto: if the bar sucks you can always go home and catch some Z's.

Oh jeez this place was horrible. I really liked their Irish Sex something drink but that was about it. The bar seems a bit divey but I love all the close parking! I just wish the food was better. The shepherd's pie was so horrible, both Costco and Haven (Pasadena) were better than this. The Mac N Cheese Burger was even more of a disappointment. Both overcooked and just... disgusting. We didn't even finish the food. I was also fascinated by the server's outfits. We're in Chino Hills, I really don't think you need to show your butt under your micro skirt... What kind of bar is this? I don't think people go for the food... Overall ambiance is good but everything else.. This place won't survive. I just felt down right trashy when I left. At least Hooter's wears skin colored tights or spandex under their shorts.

It's been a few years since I was here last. Dillon's is one of the few bars in the area with Time Warner Cable, so my wife and I figured we would give it another try so we can watch the Dodger games. We have watched quite a few games there this season and only do so in order to watch the Dodger game! Service is HORRIBLE!!! I can't emphasize that enough. If you are sitting at the bar where you are so close to the bartender they can't ignore you it's a little bit better. But if you are not at the bar you won't get your first drink for about 15-20 minutes...if you are LUCKY! Last night it took about 10 minutes to be seated because there was no hostess. There never seems to be a manager on duty, so the place runs on auto pilot. Last night my wife had a huge long hair in her wings and we were still charged for them!! If you are desperate to watch the Dodgers and are willing to tolerate such bad service...go for it.

We went to Dillion's on a Friday night and I discovered a very nice interior design and good ambience but that's where it ended. The food was not good! We had lettuce wraps, quesadilla, fish n chips, Irish stew, turkey burger and clam chowder. That's a lot of food sampling but all of it fared from barely mediocre (quesadillas) to tasteless (fish n chips). WTH! We arrived at 7:45 and it was surprisingly empty, and we soon realized as time passed what this unassuming Irish pub was all about... At some point around 9pm, all of the tables and chairs are taken away and it becomes standing room only for younger drinkers. It really becomes an undesirable bar with drunk men and women. I wouldn't go back and would tell you that you would be wasting your money here. Avoid this place!! YBW! (You've Been Warned). Happy eats yelpers!! PMAN

We went here on a Monday holiday at about noon. When we arrived there was one person at the bar. During our stay the number of people increase to about 12. They have all the TVs running and there was music playing but not Irish music. If you're looking for a place that has the feel of an Irish pub than this would not be your cup of tea. I ordered a lunch special corned beef and cabbage roll with garlic fries while my wife had a lettuce wedge. Mine was excellent and she said hers was just ok. The service was very good by the bar tendras but again there were only total of 12 people in the entire place while we were there. She was, however, personable and helpful. Again, if you were looking for Irish food or an Irish environment, you should look for another location.

I'm not usually one to complain but after my last experience at Dillon's I told myself I would write a review. My friends and I used to go to Dillion's when they had fights that we were interested in watching. You buy a $25.00 gift card and you get to watch the fight. My friend and I went there on July 12th and they had the Canelo Lara fight going on. I'm writing this late because I've been super busy with school and work. We arrived during the 9th or 10th round. We decided we would wait for the fight to end instead of buying the gift card since it was almost over. They wouldn't let us pass until the fight was over and we had no problem waiting. So we waited 15 minutes or so until it was over. We get in and go to the bar. They have a few bartenders who work really hard and a few not so hard. We have a seat and we're at the bar having drinks until they cleared the seats and started playing music for the night. We then decide to go to the patio and have a smoke. As we are outside I see some guy sneaking in through the gate but I pay him no mind because it's none of my business. I saw the guy walk indoors the and two minutes later a bouncer comes out of nowhere and tells me that I need to leave because I walked in the gate without standing in line. I don't know what he was on, but he had mistaken me for some other guy who snuck in. We weren't even the same race and we were dressed a lot different. My friend and I tried to plead with the bouncer that we had been there for almost two hours. All they had to do was ask the bartender who was helping us, but they wouldn't even do that. I asked to speak with the manager. Roy was the manager but he was no help at all. They told me I had to stand in line again but we weren't going to do that. Why would I have to stand in line if I was in there for almost two hours? My friend had a tab open but I was paying cash while at the bar. He went back inside to close his tab out and ask the bartender if she could talk to Roy and tell him we had been inside. I tried to talk to Roy and some older guy who said he's the owner. Both Roy and the owner were no help. That owner had the nerve to put his arm around me and tell me I had to stand in line again. I told him to get his hands off me and I guess that really pissed him off because he let the guy at the door know to not let me in and to get off of his property. I don't know this man and he's kicking me out for no reason so why would he try to put his arms around me. If they don't want people sneaking in they should have security standing right at the gates opening instead of at the other side. Or maybe that bouncer just needs glasses. I've never had any issues at any bar or club and I get kicked out for this bouncers mistake. If any management from Dillon's sees this; check your cameras from that night and you'll see your bouncer was in the wrong. Needless to say I'll never come back again.

Music is decent, small crowded dance floor. Now let's get to the nitty gritty, the hit or miss bartenders. We had this nice gentleman bartender to begin with, very patient with our order since it was loud in there. Then we got to Angelique. I guess girlfriend was having a bad day because I got yelled at and ripped off in the same order. She over charged me for a simple 7 dollar blue Hawaiian and yelled at me because I couldn't hear the beer selection. Aside from Angelique it was a decent experience.

I can't believe this place exists with all the horrible reviews. I've been here several times and every time I leave, I swear I'll never be back. But sometimes friends want to make this their meeting place. Every time I have gone here, the service is HORRIBLE. Today I went in to meet some friends for St Pattys Day. I was really excited to have corned beef. I ordered the sliders. Disgusting. And $14 for that and cold fries. I mean how do you mess up french fries?! I asked for a water when I ordered my food. Never got it. Asked our rude waitress, and still no water. Finally I had to get up and beg the busboy for a water. He brought it right away. Of course right after that, she brought 6 waters and put them on the table as she muttered, "I don't know who ordered these." I don't understand why she had such an attitude. It's an "Irish Pub" and it's St Patrick's Day, she should have not came to work if she didn't want to deal with a crowd. She never came back to take another order so I decided to leave. We had a huge group and she deserved the crap tips we all left her. I came on Yelp to read past reviews and i cannot believe how the representative responds to paying customers. I promise I will never return. Ever.

Very nice place to have a pint. Classy ambiance and nice service, plenty of tv's to watch the game, but terrible food. The head chef needs to be replaced. The food is overly salted to try to make up for its blandness. Even the ranch dressing makes you pucker. And serious, who makes a Chinese chicken salad with strawberries and no mandarin oranges. I mean it's Irish style food and who orders that, but still?

I've always enjoyed coming here. Its nice to watch football on Sunday mornings because its not too crazy and it's somewhere appropriate to bring my son. I wouldn't at night though. Seems like a place that gets more crazy at night. Breakfast wasn't the greatest but I loved their bacon. It's like a corned beef bacon.

Negative 5 stars for this place, service is the slowest I've ever seen. We went for lunch on a Saturday. Their were only about 6 people in the whole place. We sat down, waitress didn't come to take drink orders for at least 10 minutes. Didn't bring menus, went back to get them started talking with another waitress instead of bringing the menus. The beer wasn't cold, and when the food showed up the corned beef tasted rotten, the shepherds pie was cold. And the chicken wrap tasted like it was old chicken reheated. The Only good thing that showed up to the table was the avocado fries. I came here about 2 years ago and all the food was great, service was great, i don't know what happened to this place, Tried coming here at night once and it was ridiculous as well. There was about 10-12 of us, and when we got to the front of the line, they were going to let the girls in but make all the guys stay outside. Needless to say, none of us will ever go back. And on a side note, girlfriend said all the waitresses looked like they partied the night before and showed up without sleep or showers. Greasy hair that they wouldn't stop playing with. All bad.

I went here for my 30th birthday celebration and was not expecting much from previous yelpers but decided to give it a try anyway. This Dillion's is so so and not as much fun as the location in Hollywood. We sat outside because that was the largest table that could accommodate 10 people. We ended up freezing because they didn't have outdoor heaters at the table. We also placed our order for drinks and the wait was very long. When I received my second drink, it was completely incorrect. We then ordered food and it was cold and not as tasty as it sounded. The wait to place our order also took a very long time. Our server was very apologetic because she forgot to take our order and then handed us off to another waitress because she was going home for the day. i really wanted to like this place because it's local and looks very cool. However, I wasn't impressed with the service or food, which are two big requirements for any positive yelp review. Please Dillion's get it together!

Bad impression for this place as a first time goer. I went with a few friends on a Saturday night and there was a line with about a 30 minute wait. No, the line wasn't that long, what happened was that when all the ratches showing off their boobs got there, they were letting them in w/o making them wait in line. Lots of people noticed what was going on and started leaving. Will I go there again? Probably not. I hate seeing people treat others in an unjust manner.

this place really turned into a big shithole....I shouldn't have stepped in after being patted down prior to going in. That was the biggest indicator on how terrible this place has gotten. they have like a staff of 50 and 40 of them are door men....to quote Knocked Up "you're just a stupid fuckin door man with a clip board! door man!!!! door man!!!!"

A girlfriend and I came here for the first time for a snack and a drink and we felt we were treated poorly. We werent greeted, didnt know where to sit, or get a menu... I went to the bar to ask for a menu, the lady looked at us weirdly AS IF we should have already known what they had to offer or maybe I was just interrupting her time. Soooo that made us feel awkward. Service was just slow throughout our meal, food was just ok, lack of organization at the bar, attitude was rude, and I havent been back since.

Super packed at night, especially weekends. Good music at night. Food was good. Server was attentive and great. Avocado fries: after 3 pieces I was good. Great for avocado fanatics. Margherita pizza: it was too doughy as if it wasn't cooked all the way Sliders: Kobe beef and salmon = bomb! Since it's on Hawaiian bread Went here on a Monday, HH 3pm-7pm 50% off appetizers and 25% off select entrees. Not bad!

Went here for an early dinner while Christmas shopping. Stopped in thinking, "hey - this sounds pretty good!" After sitting down and perusing the menu and NOT being helped efficiently, we discovered that this was pretty much an overpriced "Irish" version of Chili's or Applebee's - but with shittier food. Our server was all beauty and NO brains whatsoever. She didn't know what types of beers they had or what was in certain drinks/shots. $9 for a small bowl of shitty chili? Me thinks not. This place could have so much potential but they failed - harcorde. Will NEVER go here again. I'd rather go to Chili's across the street.

This place is alright. The service here is horrible. They do have good food though, a little bit pricy, but still good. I like the avocado fries and the Irish Bread pudding is to die for. Every time I have come here they are out of a bunch of beers. Their Bar manager needs to get it together and stay on top of inventory. Also they really need to get that permit to serve alcohol on the patio. The patio has the best ambience and yet! no one is ever out there because you cant bring your drinks.

Came here on fight night, the waitress had decided it was ok to refer to me as the N WORD. When she realized I got mad, she said I didn't say that... I used to frequent this place with my friends to watch the UFC fights. We used to spend hundreds on drinks and dinner. The food was mediocre but the atmosphere was good and the service was ok before it started turning into a wannabe nightclub for bro/brohoes. After dealing with terrible service and rude employees on many occasions I decided to not spend anymore money on this fake Irish pub.

Came in about 8pm wearing a tank top and a hat without a logo. Got in through the door and sat at the bar. Bouncer Brandon came up to me and told me to take my hat off, so I did. Whatever. That wasn't a big deal. But seeing him let in two other dudes with hats right after this got me fumed. Breathe. I ordered another drink. Then another guy from their ever so gracious security team came up to me asking if I had another shirt in the car. Apparently they don't allow tank tops. C'mon. Isn't that something I should have been told at the door before I ordered anything? Very displeased with my last visit.

I believe due to the fact that we are over 55, they sat us upstairs where no one else was seated. Didn't want to spoil their image I guess! No way to see the World Cup but there were 10 TV's w/ racing. No Smithwick's which is why we went there on a Saturday afternoon. It took 15 minutes to get waited on, evidently the waitress didn't know we were up there. No alcohol on the patio is an issue. Won't go back.

This place is a joke. The door guy who was chewing a big wad of tobacco in his mouth refused us entry because 3 out of the 6 people I was with were wearing hats. However when I looked inside there were 3 people wearing hats. The tobacco chewing door guy who thought he was making a difference in this world also said my friends pants were too baggy. What is he the fashion police? My friend is a big guy and they were loose fitting pants for him. I've seen baggier pants. Your establishment lost out on our business. Your lucky I even gave you 2 stars you rat bastards. I will tell everyone I know this place is a joke.

I stopped by here while on a happy hour/pub craw/we just want apps and drinks/whatever you want to call it. The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon with people watching football. The food was good (good greasy bar food), and I was thrilled at the beer selection. Plenty of beers other than the usual main stream ones, you can easily find one or two you probably haven't tried yet.

We were looking around for someplace we hadn't tried before. In hindsight, I wish I'd kept on looking. This place has all the looks of a great Irish pub. And it might have the drinks of it (neither my Wife nor I am drinkers), but it certainly doesn't meet the food criteria. Looking over the menu.......Irish pub...but not much irish food.....they've probably got decent Fish & Chips, right? Worst fish & chips i've ever had. The fish was tasteless and freely slipped out of its breading. Mrs. Pauls has better fish. Chips were....chips. Service was good, they made sure we had plenty of refills on soft drinks. But because of the food, I will not be back.

The only reason why Dillions gets two stars is because it's one of the few places around where I can smoke a cigar and eat on the patio. Besides that it deserves one star purely because their bouncers are extreme douche bags who love to start shit with anyone. I'm not over exaggerating either, they will find any reason to bust someone chops and start a fight. There has been so many incidents here, including a bouncer leaving one of thier customers in a comma. Would honestly be happy if this place got shut down.

I came in for St. Pattys day around noon. Really cool atmosphere. +Great selection of beers on tap. 20+ beers on tap; Racer 5, Stone IPA, Arrogant bastard, etc. +$5 pints +Very spacious. Lots of room inside. They even have 2 bars inside too I don't know how this place is at night (ie: people are saying it's like a club ??) but it seemed pretty cool when I stopped by.

This place sucks. Came to a birthday party and stood in line for an hour only to be disrespected by the bouncer. Who stated everyone has to wait in line. But then he walks to the back of the line and grabs a group of girls in short skirts and high heels and lets them all in. Won't be visiting this place again.

Came here a few times with my girlfriends to eat, chat, and get a drink. It's never that busy. Service is okay. There are a lot of young girls who work here, but not all of them are that nice. The last time I was here, the man who brought out our food ended up walking away while putting his arm around our waitress' lower waist. It was really awkward for my table to watch. Shepard's Pie - Worth trying. I love mashed potatoes, so I had to try this. I'm not usually a fan of lamb, but this was okay. It didn't taste very gamey. Mac & Cheese Sliders - They come with yummy shoestring fries, but the sliders themselves are just OK. I love that they used sweet buns, but the mac & cheese was pretty bland. Avocado Fries - Plain. Not bad. Bread Pudding - MUST GET. If you're into desserts...you gotta try this. Chocolate Guinness - Avoid at all costs...unless you LOVE Guinness. My friends and I were not fans of this drink at alllllll. I haven't been completely sold on Dillon's yet. Lots of locals come here to drink regularly though, so it's definitely turning into a popular local joint.

Service was terrible, the waitresses dress sloppy but drinks were cheap. If you want a cheap drink and don't care about servers who ignore you or having a good experience, go here! If you do care about having good service and atmosphere, go to the Yard House around the corner. This Dillons is a joke, if you like the one in Hollywood, don't go here it will ruin it for you. This place is nothing like the one in Hollywood.

Only was able to have beers here. That being said... Was poured a guiness and it was basically water. Server nicely poured me a different beer. Selection is just okay. Will try again. THREE STARS: beers. are. boring.

I've been to this place once, the line was long and we had to wait about 30 mins to get in. It was ecrowded, sweaty, and hummind inside. There was no cover charge and the drinks are about $12+

We have been waiting for an Irish Pub to open locally for a long time. Welcome Dillon's. That's when our 5 hour adventure began. The interior was wonderful with a large bar and dark wood abound. We showed up at 9:30 opening day and ready to celebrate St Patty's Day with our new Friends at Dillon's expected large crowds and wern't surprised to see they were busy. After an hour wait to get in we were finally seated and ordered our green beer and browsed the limited ST Patties day menu. Fish & Chips were in mind and when we finally were given the opportunity to order were told that they only serve breakfast til noon. So we then browsed the breakfast menu and decided to order breakfast and stick with the beer. 1 hour later a skillet of eggs showed up and the waitress said she forgot to input our breakfast but offered the skillet at no charge. OK the St pattricks day atmosphere kept the energy going but th srevice and kitchen were lacking. since no breakfast seemed to be coming we decided to order lunch but still had to wait until noon before the order would be taken. Keep the green beer coming slow but that process worked. Finally at noon we managed to get our order taken and had our Fish and Chips show up about 1:30 with our appetizer to follow shortly after. Nachos in case you were wondering. The people across from us had the same issues we had. No food... Here's the Nitty Gritty: The Fish and chips were OK the Nachos horrible. The servers were friendly but overwhelmed. The managment invisible. Plenty of bouncers. For the price the portions were small. Everyone around us wree making the same comments. We want Dillon's to be successful so we will be back. We'll chalk up the service experience to the opening day craziness. We hope they are more attentive to their guests n the next round. The food and menu I hope is better than what St Patties Day offered.

This place is hoot. At like 1100pm, the demographic is horrible and the food is mediocre. But you come here to just get drunk and chill out so thats not that big of an issue. The line outside is ridiculous for a bar like this though. You're better off trying another place. Plus it hardly passes as an irish bar anyways.

This is y this bar is 2/5 stars I have gone with shorts on and spent a lot of money on the weekends and what do u know this weekend they say no because I have shorts on that is just low don't waist your time it is the summer and it's hot but they still segregate they have there shit up there ass so don't waist your time

Bring air freshener with you because it smells really bad in here. You can tell they don't clean much in here. The ledges are full of dust. Nobody greets you when you come in even when the greeter is standing right in front of you. It took 5 mins before anyone even noticed I sat at a table by the bar. I even made eye contact with the bartender. Sad. Anyway, my opinion is get workers who appreciate your business, not good looking lazy broads. Just saying.

This place is a good night life encounter. I usually get a beer, onion rings, hummus with pita bread, and fries (half shoestring/half steak fries). There's house music playing late some night and ID must be presented before entrance. I really love the Irish Car Bombs here, but the food is just alright, nothing special.

This place wasn't even full and we waited 35 minutes to get our food . Even from the beginning I knew it was a bad start , the hostess looked like she was asleep. No energy at all. Everyone who works there is so slow. The food was whatever . I ordered the chicken tenders , which where not tender at all . I think the best part of my meal was the carrots that came with the chicken. Oh and the water was filthy. I would not be coming back here at all.

Pricey menu items and the shepard's pie was really nothing but average. I would never pay those prices for that dish again. The side of sweet potato fries that a friend got, however, were the best I've ever had. EVER. Small selection of beer, but it flows cheaply at $3 a pint. Great place for a snack and a pint, not the best option for a full on dinner.

Wish I could rate this place lower but one star is the lowest. Worst service I've ever had plain and simple... The "large" manager acts like it is his first day on the job and pushes everything onto the other manager. The short skinny manager with tattoos on his neck is timid and just says sorry repeatedly for an hour and a half wait. Two hours later and all out of excuses for their horrible service, they had the bouncer come ask me and my girlfriend to leave. If you go here, good luck

Disappointing. Came here for lunch with wife. Ordered Corned beef and cabbage. The cabbage wasn't cooked enough it should be mushy not much crunch. Corned beef was sandwich slices not the real thing. Potatoes were good. Service n beer OK. Has Irish look down but they need work on Irish food.

One of those places that you want to give zero stars to. I and a friend of mine wanted to check the place out since it was labeled an "Authentic Irish Pub and Grill." I don't know when the last time the owner was in Ireland and been to an actual pub but calling this place that is a slap in the face. It is a bar for yuppies and Chino Hills folk who have nothing better to do or don't want to make the drive to an actual Irish Pub. Save your money boys and girls and hit up O'Donovan's, Limericks, Bulldog, or Black Watch. They are more worthy of the title "Irish Pub." I would rather drive to LA or Pasadena and go to an Irish Pub out there rather than have this place darken my doorstep again.

I love Dillon's. All the beer on tap is $3/5 depending on the size and the food is inexpensive+tasty. Some orders are also discounted during happy hour. The bartenders are friendly too. I highly recommend Dillon's. *as of 10/1/14 the beers prices have been increased by a dollar for each size. now $4/16oz and $6/22oz.

Although no longer the "Home of the $3 Pints".. ..they quickly redeemed themselves with "Ciroc Thursdays". Starting at 10 pm every Thursday they offer Ciroc shots/mixed drinks for $6. Again, the food remains easily forgettable but the deep-fried avocado fries are great to munch on while drinking the night away. Not the hippest nor the trendiest spot but it is a good time with the right company. Still a fan!

This may be the only bar to hang out at if your looking for a party scene. My bro, cuz, and I went here to watch the Lakers get beat by the Clippers. Every TV in the place had it on. Tons of people came to watch the game. Then tons more came to just enjoy the high energy of the place: DJ, drink specials all day, young crowd all night! Food was good for being a bar! And our waitress "NIcole" was great to us! There were dudes giving her a hard time about other stuff, but she always brushed it off and gave us quality attention and service. There's a line out the door if you arrive after....9? We were there by 7p for the game, and there's no cover. Did I meant drink specials all frekin night? You can't go wrong! Yard House Bar & Grill is ofcourse great, but it doesn't have the scene of Dillon's.

Food is pretty good and there is a lot of different beers to try. The service is very good. Every one is very nice. Price are good even when it's not a happy hour. There are lots of Tvs to watch the different games. I would recommend this place to everyone

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Seriously. First of all, it smelled weird. It was as if they used a dirty rag to wipe the entire place down. It kinda smelled like a dead rat. Second, the hostess was oblivious as to what her job was (seating people). Lastly, the manager is a dick. He was very rude. $4 beers though so I'll go back...

Came here a few days ago and sat at the bar. The guy behind the bar said, "Someone will be with you in a minute." No worries... The same guy then came around the bar after pouring himself a beer, sat 2 stools down from me and took the Directv remote and changed the game. He then proceeded to sit and watch the game. Weird... The the bartender came and asked what I wanted. I told her I wasn't sure, but I don't like IPA's, "flavored beer" or domestics. She honestly said, "Well, we ain't got nothing for you then." I asked about the Irish beers she may have since it's an "Irish Pub." She said we have Guinness. I asked about Stouts, Murphy's, Ohara's and a few other Irish beers. She said, "Nope" to all of them. I asked her what makes the place an "Irish Pub" if they don't carry any Irish Beers\. She said, "The Name." LMFAO... OK. there were a total of 8 people in the bar and they all looked like drunk locals. I've been here before and have written reviews about it. The food stinks, nothing special about it and definitely not Irish. Then I came back and had a beer with a friend and thought it was OK. Now, no way. I won't be back and from the looks of it, if it doesn't pay attention to what customers are saying, this place won't be around for much longer. on Sundays, while every other sports bar is packed, this place has a whole whopping 10 people in it.

Rude all around. A gf & I came by, we sat and drank for a few hours & after last call, the bar started clearing out so my friend went towards the bathroom quick before we were about to head out & this douche comes over insisting we leave the bar, that they need everyone out, they can't serve anymore drinks. We aren't asking for anything other than to use the restroom. They insisted and we were forced to leave. Paying customers. So now two, twenty-something year old girls are supposed to stop somewhere at 2am on the way home to try and find a bathroom? I was livid! Service wasn't good the entire time and w/ that to end the night, I'm never coming back. Thumbs down

Food was good after not having been here in awhile. Sadly, will not be returning. They charged me twice, with tip and all. After calling five times and speaking with a "manager" on three occasions, no reimbursement. It was not a busy night, so I guess my Amex card was needed to make up for that.

Wow, need I say more.. We went for a friends bday with girls.. Having a good time.. Than some guy was trying to dance In our girls ground and my boyfriend came to the rescues.. I guess he was some kind of management and got offended by our delineation and called the bouncer to take us out.. (because we declined his offer) my bf was trying to protect us. He was a midget with a pink polo shirt with a girl security guard threading to pepper spray us.. He called me a ratchet.. I don't know what kind of management would ever say that!! Spend too much money there.. Will never step foot in there again.. And I will let all my cliental know about my horrible experience!!

Came in for St. Patty's Day. I must admit, growing up in the IE, I was pleasantly surprised there was a place in CHINO of all places to go to to celebrate a fun holiday. Had to wait in line to get in. They were definitely following those fire marshall rules and strict about how many people to let in at a time. The crowd seemed fun and chill once I was in. Ate some corned beef and hash, irish nachos, and chicken wings. The food was pretty good. Except the hash wasn't exaclty hash. It was a plate of corned beef on the right side, cabbage in the middle, and cubed potatoes on the left. Ha! The drinks were good. Bartenders were nice and service was attentive. They also had someone walking around playing the bag pipes. Fun! I'd come back, especially to see what it's like on a normal day or even weekend night.

Ok for a pub and hanging out but the food is way overpriced and not that good, like the fish and chips, they microwave the 3 little fish sticks definitely not worth $12 and the irish lamb? Stew, the weakest broth with no flavor with two quartered potatoes, some carrots and 3 little pieces of pot roast, maybe and ounce of meat for $11?Anyway ok for drinks not food and the service is fine, 4stars for service! Food ........eat at home.

You're way better off at the Yard House! Our family went today (Sunday at noon). It wasn't crowded. I should have gotten my first hint to turn back when I saw that the hostess' uniform was dirty (and it was a black shirt)-some type of food smearing of some sort...and if it was from the night before, she should have washed it. It took the brain power of the hostess put together with 2 other waitresses to figure out how to seat a table for five with a half filled restaurant. Our waitress was nice and pleasant, took our order, then we waited, waited.....waited.....30 minutes later....waited...40 minutes...crickets...finally the shift manager stopped by and asked how we were doing. My husband replied that we were hungry (and I was Hangry (hungry +angry). Manager said she'd check on the food. We told our waitress that we just wanted to pay for the beer and head somewhere else since we have not gotten our food. At this point our kids had faces like you see on those 'starving kids' ads. Within 10 minutes, our food came (not all together). Half our order was lukewarm, the lettuce on my wraps were wilted (like they've been hanging out under the heat lamp)....and the chicken manager never even came back to see if our issues were resolved. Terrible terrible service. Trust me, you're better off at the Yard House. If you're curious to take a look at the place, feel free to walk by and peek in...then walk on to the Yard House. If you stay at Dillon's, then be warned "I told you so!"

I went to Dillons on a Saturday, around 12:30pm 07/28/2012 for lunch. The restaraunt was not busy at all. We orderd 2 meals for the 2 adults and 2 childrens meals for the 2 children age 6. The food took forever to arrive and only the adults were served. We were told the kids meal would be served in a few minutes. After at least another 10 minutes we were told they had to be re-made because they were sent to the wrong table. By the time the adults had finished eating, the kids food still had not arrived. We complained again and the food finally came. The manager took the kids meals off the bill but that was it, no appologies. I have not heard any good things about Dillons, and I don't think I will be back

Top of the morning does not even fit this resturant at all. First off the place calls itself an Irish pub but when you look at their beer seletions they only have two beers that are Irish and they dont carry Killians at all. Then we come to the menu. They only have two actual Irish dishes on the whole menu. The resturant rounds out the rest on the menu with things like pasta, burger and tacos! The prices are very high for the amount of food that you get and the taste is certainly something that needs a lot of improvement on. The mac n cheese had no flavor, my pork chop was over peppered, and under cooked, and the mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box. The servers are not knowledgeable at all and are dressed very inappropriately, they look like street walkers. This places needs to figure out their identity and then work in that direction. It has potential but needs so much work that its going to take a long time to become good. There are better chouces in the area than this.

I went to this place 2 times. Once on a Friday night with friends. I had a good time with my friends which was fun but the experience could have been better. The drinks we a good price. Other than that that was the only good thing about the place. I had to stand in line for around 25 minutes just to get into the place. It was really crowed. No where to sit and almost no where to stand. There was music but this place was so loud, like a club almost. I like to dance but this place is too small to turn into a club. First round of drinks one of the guys directing the crowds there moved us to the front of the line which was really nice but second round I had to wait in line. The waiting in line part wasn't the problem but the female bartender was really rude. She kept skipping over me and my friend in line. Finally when she got to us and we told her what we wanted she said she was out of what we wanted and just walked away and started helping other people. This happened 2 more times. Finally she got our drinks but we could see the girl complaining about how some other girl on staff had no idea what she was doing and didn't know how to mix a drink to save her life. It was really unprofessional. The second time I went was a better experience. Went with a few friends. It was a weekday and not so crowded. Drinks and appetizers were good. This other female bartender was much nicer so that made up for it. If I hadn't gone a second time I would have rated this place one star. Overall its a good place for drinks with friends.

Came here for some drinks with friends on Saturday night, and found out that they don't even have Guinness (ran out?) That is a complete fail for an Irish bar. The ambiance looked cool and loungy though, and it looked like a good place to hang out. Perhaps next time!

Just got back from an early dinner at Dillon's Chino Hills. We ordered the corned beef and cabbage and a bowl of chili. It wasn't what I expected, the corned beef looks more like pastrami, I wasn't impressed at all. The chili could have come from a can. Sorry Dillon, you'll have to do better with these 2. The staff was very pleasant and we got served right away. We didn't get the $3 beer, maybe we should have.

After skewering Dillon's in my last review for dinner, I said I would come back and try it for lunch, I did. After a hot day of trap shooting at Prado my nephew and I wanted (needed) a cold beer and some lunch. I thought this would be a great opportunity to try Dillon's again. Got here around 1pm and took seats at the bar. The crowd was very light as I think the heat may have kept some people away. No matter, our bartender Alexis was very pleasant and greeted us right away. She took drink orders and served us up right away. First thing I noticed was Dillon's no longer had the paper menus and actually had "grown-up" menus. The food selection looked about the same as before, I didn't want a burger so I settled for the Philly Cheesesteak while nephew took a chicken pesto sandwich. While waiting for our food Alexis kept our drinks coming and was very pleasant talking with us. After a reasonable wait, about 10-15 minutes our food came out....hot even. I was surprised. The food was hot and my cheesesteak was very good. My nephew commented his chicked pesto was also very good. Overall my lunch experience was much improved over the dinner visit. Only thing was there was a young man, either a bar back or a busser (couldn't tell which) hanging out behind the bar and he was sucking the end of his pen non-stop. You can derive your own opinions from here but it just grossed me out. So other than that, good hot food, very good service. I'll be back for lunch.

So my friends and i decided to check this place out, it was HORRIBLE!! The waitress was a nightmare. It took 30 min to get our drinks .They over charged my card by $15 one day then two days later charged it two more times.I called the manager and they tried telling me it was a glitch in their system. ?!?!?!?!?I had to deal with my bank 2 different times because the useless managers here weren't going to help. SO CHECK YOUR RECIEPTS I'VE HEARD THIS HAPPENS OFTEN HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! or pay with cash if you decide to deal with drama! This place is a WASTE OF SPACE.

I went on a Sunday it was Labor day weekend. I met a group of friends there. There were about 10-12 of us. This service at first was very good, then the servers switched and the service got slow then they got busy and it went from slow to a crawl. Drink orders were slow to come out and wrong when they did. The server wouldn't get everyone at the table before she would walk away. When we went inside the male bartender skipped us over for the women at the bar. The Dj while friendly and played mostly good music played, it out of order. The beats would change drastically and there was no flow. The dance floor was empty or full every other song. I don't really have high standards at all but the service here was pretty bad, I really hope they were short handed but after reading some of the reviews it seem's like this is the type of service you get there. I have only been once so I would try it again to see if it was just a bad night.

This place is great! Not only is it beautiful on the outside, the inside is awesome as well. I went on a weekend night and it was very crowded, but i was greeted promptly and sat with my party. We had a fairly large party. Our servers name was Tanna (spelled wrong maybe) She was great! She was all smile and really polite, checked on us often and although it was busy, and our table had lots of demands, she was always on top of everything and got our orders right. I could imagine we were annoying and she was probably busy, but she helped us with the upmost patience and courtesy. I think my experience here is great and i would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Chili was watery, had more of a soup consistency, and had an odd mixture of ground and stew meat. Add in the overpowering green pepper and I definitely wouldn't order it again. The best part of the meal was the Hawaiian sweet rolls, which were probably bought from the store. It was far from a traditional Irish pub, so if you want that, head elsewhere. The staff was friendly and pretty quick to get things moving, considering how busy it was. I'd say this is more like a bar and grill than an Irish place. We probably won't head back to this location with all the other options around.

Worst service ever!!! The atmosphere is cool, but the waitress's suck! We were there for 20min, mind you there were 10 other people in the bar, and we were not acknowledge!!!! We left and will never go back!!! Thank goodness Wood Ranch is right around the corner... Best service ever!!!

Beer was great! Staff was very well informed and helpful. Had the hummus and it was really good. Pita chips and pita slices. It was tasty and a cool atmosphere. Got here at 9pm on a Thursday and everyone's been really nice and friendly. No fights. Good pricing points and good selection. I would recommend.

When Dillon's first opened several years ago, it was actually very good. Service was very good and the food was tasty, made me want to come back for more. Even there beer, fairly priced and had good selections from what I remember back then. But as time went on, it changed.... not in the good way. I feel like the waiters and waitresses weren't as friendly or attentive and the mixed drinks my friend would order weren't good. They would make us a nee drink, which is cool, but the new one didnt taste any better. It feels like they don't really care anymore. Yes I know it's a pub so it can get crazy in there, especially on weekends, and I'm not asking for the best top quality service.... but it's now at a point were I don't feel welcomed and I to this :/ every time I hear Dillon's. I use to love the Mac and cheese burger, when I first had it, it was cooked to my liking, with a lot of pink in the center, it was juicy. Now when I say I want it "Medium rare," it's well done. I can understand if it's medium, even medium well.... but we'll done. That how you know they "DGAF." I'm willing to give it another shot, but they have to get there act together. Until then, this is good only for cheap beer and maybe a quick get together. But honestly, there are better places to go to for that. 2 stars.

I used to like Dillon's. They have a good selection of beer and their avocado fries are delicious. Also, Dillon's is one of the only decent bars in the area. However, they actually started charging a $5 cover charge on weekends. A bar charging for admittance. So ridiculous. They were known for their good selection of moderately priced beers, but even their drinks have gotten pricey. This is Chino Hills, not L.A. Get real.

So I've been here three times and the first two time I had a lot of fun for their after dark (kind of club atmosphere), until my third visit which was yesterday. (What went wrong) I ordered a midori sour and the bartender (I call him Mike The Situation, since he looked like him) made the drink and there wasn't a problem until the cherry fell off my drink onto the counter and "The Situation" threw it back into my drink with his hands. I was completely grossed out. The counter has been touched by so many sweaty people and the bartender handles cash with his hands so I thought was rude for him to throw a now dirty cherry into my drink. So I gave "The Situation" a looks like I wasn't going to pay for it until he made me a new one, he stood there with a blank stare like nothing was wrong. When it finally clicked in his head he got mad at me because he f*cked up. The point of this review is don't waste your time here.

If you're looking for horrible service and loud unattractive obnoxious people then this is your place. The music was loud to the point that we had to yell what we wanted it was pretty bad...

I love this place! During the week it's a great place to grab a drink and karaoke. On the weekends it's a bar and tiny club which is also fun! The happy hour drinks are really reasonably priced. My friends & I always get the best service. I really enjoy coming here!

Let's see. Chino Hills and the surrounding areas really don't have a lot of nice spots to go to get your dance on. This is local to my home, so we decided to check it out on a Friday night. The dj was NOT the best. He didn't sound like he knew what he was doing, and had a hard time meshing songs together and ended up killing the vibe. The crowd was YOUNG. I mean, I"ll be turning 30 in a few months and every single guy that hit on me was under 24. It's nice knowing I don't look my age, but I had to shoo them away with my ring and tell them I'm an old lady with kids. Conversation was still nice. There were a few creeps in there...and for every girl in attendance, there were 5-6 guys, so a dude fest for sure. Not sure if I'd go back, but if I was in the need to dance and there was a different DJ, this may be the spot.

Horrible service from bartenders. Took over 10 minutes to get served, even though I made eye contact with numerous bartenders as they walked past. I watched two of them take shots, chat it up before serving me. Extremely over priced as well. Floor was soaked with alcohol and spilt drinks, pretty dangerous if you ask me. Will not be returning here, and this was my first visit too!

I dont know where to start since there are so many things to mention - but im going to start with their services. I dont know if the waitress we got was the only one or the restaurant hires waitress only with the attitude, but now that I see everybody complaining about their services - hum.. Dear GM, please stop hiring the girls with the attitude. Our waitress rolled her eyes at me, cut me off while I was ordering. And she came back with drinks or food we ordered really late, no apologies. I dont know what the problem was, maybe she was having a bad day? But what do I have to do with that, not nice. Also, I understand they have dance floor but humm.. why play bad music that loud? I was screaming to my friend, but she still couldn't hear me. Because I was going deaf I asked if we can seat outside, they said "no alcohol at the patio" humm again... what do you have patio for then? Mysterious place. We only went there because chino hills got nothing other than yardhouse with 30-45 min wait. Next time, I will just patiently wait.

Everything on here is absolutely true and that's heart breaking because I really went in here with an open mind. The bouncers think they're federal agents; yes my friend has a temporary ID, no need to be obnoxious about having to read a piece of paper. The waitresses- oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware there were any because if your group had at least one girl in it, they didn't come to you- not even once. Our party has 4 girls and 4 guys and not once did a waitress EVER approach us, however, when a group of guys walked by us suddenly they were aware there were people siting on the upper level. We had to go to the bar to order drinks since the waitresses were useless, and the bartenders were quick and speedy and helpful- they get 5 stars. The DJ...oh God the dismal, pitiful, TERRIBLE DJ. The best way to describe it? Remember that time you went to college and that one kid found the DJ app on his computer so he kept trying to make "mixes" and he was so excited to feel like a DJ that he kept clicking all the songs in his music library before they ever had a chance to play and the next thing you know he's starting over and replaying the same 10 seconds of every mainstream popular song over, and over, and over again... Well if you missed that guy from your dorm you're in luck because apparently he's the DJ here, and he still plays the same 5 songs on repeat and only plays the most exciting parts of a song for 10 seconds before switching. The patrons here are...well...let's say "average." Most of them were about 5'7 and under, which made our party with men over 6" stand out and awkward to navigate through the crowd. Do yourself a favor and don't give this place a try- you won't be happy.

Not really my first option but not a bad spot to come watch my Boys in Blue play since no one else shows them. Jolene gave great service, nachos & hummus weren't bad. With 10+ years of manager experience the only thing that annoys me is when I see off duty staff AND out of uniform (tank top, shorts, & flip flops), walk behind the bar (when the bar is filled w/customers) & serve them self a beer and walk back out to a bar top. My employee would have been written up on the spot. But then again.., haven't seen a manager the whole game.

So a few things about this place to know before you go. It's definitely not an Irish Pub - they had literally six items were legitimate Irish cuisine (counting two soups). They also played pretty loud hip-hop music throughout the entirety of our meal. These are not bad things, but they were unexpected considering the name of the place insinuates it's an Irish Pub. We probably should have known from the two things I mentioned above that ordered anything Irish here would be a mistake, but of course, lessons learned are usually in hindsight. I went with the Shepard's Pie, which for some bizarre reason was greasy and had very little flavor overall ... not even sure how you do that really. The drinks were well made and strong and that was a winner for me. So, I'll vote, go for the drinks, not the food. Overall: C Not an Irish Pub. Go with drinks and hanging out. Skip the food.

Made plans before I read the reviews so I was a little concerned. Plenty of help and good service on Mother's Day. Fixed menu with 4 choices. I went with the lamb shank, garlic mashed potatoes & green beans. Not the best I've had but still very good. Waitress kept checking with us during the meal. I will return on a normal day to check out the everyday menu, have a beer and watch a game

I've been here many times and it's always inconsistent. if you are coming her for a bar experience it's ok. I don't expect much when I come to drink aside from good drinks, and fast service. There is a good beer selection on tap and the mixed drinks are not watered down. For the most part you get all this but again, very inconsistent specifically with the staff. If you are coming here to eat, this is a whole different story. I really wanted to like this place and I have eaten here three times and I will not be eating here again. The fish and chips were terrible and that's a shame because they are not hard to make. The turkey burger was just sad and soggy and most of the appetizers taste as if they were frozen. Bottom line, if your down for a bar experience and don't plan to eat, it's good enough for that. Cheers!

It was an awesome place right until I received my wrong card back from the waitress, she even asked me my name and she looked at the card, I didn't really pay any attention to what the card said because I saw that the waitress had read "my card" so she handed it to me, I put it in my wallet and just went home, when I got home I noticed that she had given me the same bank card but with a different name. Be Careful when the waitress gives you your card back, this was my first time here and possibly my last time, I had to cancel my account and cancel a charge on my account that the waitress charged on it, which I did not approved with any signature at all, I didn't even use my card to Pay for the check, I paid cash. The only reason they had my card was because they have to hold a card on fight nights when you order alcohol, so I gave them my card and made it clear that I was going to pay cash, which I did! The waitress or the managers should ask the waitresses to double check the cards and make sure they read them correctly to not give out the wrong card to customers, thus was an easy task to do. Always check your card before you leave guys!!

they have the best Kobe' Burger i've ever had. Yes the service could use some attention... a few seem a little stuck up..but most are really nice people..willing to help and serve. They also have deep fried Avocados..omg...they are incredible..BTW so is the beer..got lots and lots of diff beers...i do love this place. also they have a elect car charger (2 acutually) near them so if u have a hybred elect. you can charge while u eat. Did I say I love this place?...

Okay so my boyfriend and I only come here as a last resort to watch a sporting event because either buffalo wild wings or yard house is full. The service is not great whatsoever, the server literally yawned with her mouth wide open when I was giving my order...Seriously?! There has been another time when they brought the food over and they dropped the salsa on the table... didn't replace it or anything, the guy just looked and walked away. The food is what you would expect. I opt out of actual dishes and go for appetizers, which are okay. The exterior looks pretty cool, the interior feels dated. All in all... I just try to avoid this place as much as possible. The only reason why my boyfriend and I go here is because my boyfriend wants to see a sporting event and all the other places are packed.

Rude. The bouncers are out of line and the servers need a crash course in manners. We've had so many friends come here and it's nothing but negatively from this place. We stopped coming here and won't be back. Unless they do a complete over haul on the staff, music and bouncers

This place is really good for what it is. If you come here to have a nice sit down meal then you will be very disappointed. The drinks here are very good and their Happy Hour prices are great! $3 pints for me and I'm set. I came here with a group of people and some of them weren't drinking. We ordered almost all of the appetizers on the menu and those in our group complained about how the food didn't taste very good. This is a great example of how you should just take this place for what it is. The food is average bar food and, just like in most bars, the food doesn't taste that great but once you've been drinking it doesn't really matter as long as you can put something on your stomach. With that said, if that isn't what you want then don't come here. No, the food isn't that great, but it's a good place for Happy Hour. The service was really good, even though our waitress kind of stood in the distance staring at us for a while. Apparently they turn into a club at 10 pm on Fridays, but I didn't stay that long. Overall this place has a good atmosphere and it's definitely somewhere you want to come with a group of people. Otherwise you'll be drinking alone and eating food that's subpar, which is something you can do at home #19/100

We came to the shoppes center to eat at kickin crab, unfortunately the place was crowded and they already took their last call. Since none of us had ever ate at an Irish pub, we decided to check dillons out. The ambiance was pretty chill, everyone was eating and drinking and the music was fitting for the location. We were seated after a quick 5 minute wait. However, the service was a bit lacking. After the waitress took our orders, it took a good 20-30 minutes to get our food, INCLUDING THE APPZ. My Dillons platter was okay. The the fried calamari were soft & the buffalo wings were pretty saucy. These two items was the only thing I enjoyed out of the entire platter which included: 2 sliders of my choice (taste like just a regular slider, nothing that requires 30 mins to make), avocado fries, calamaris, & buffalo wings. I also ordered a side of beer battered onion rings and I was definitely NOT impressed. The onions were chewy and hard to cut up and the overall flavor was not that great. The onion rings were also cold. My boyfriend ordered the fish and chips and it was okay, probably a 3/5 stars. The fries were good, tasted similar to red robins. The fish could have been a bit more fried. My friend ordered a sandwich that for sure did not look like it would take half an hour to make, it also did not taste good..not to mention everything was overpriced! Even when it came to paying, the check took awhile to come out. My overall experience just wasn't good. I probably wouldn't come back here since there wasn't much that I liked about it. Slow service, below average food, & long wait. I give it one star for the workers since they were friendly.

ZERO STARS!!!!!!!! THIS IS WHY I HAVE ALWAYS HATED DILLIONS IN CHINO HILLS!!! There was a HAIR BALL in my niece's burger! (Picture posted) I have always hated this place and only been once before but since it was my mom's bday today I thought I'd give it a shot again for her but it was shit! With the MOST DISRESPECTFUL AND BITCHIEST HOSTESSES, who literally saw us walk in just to stare with dirty looks then walk away! No greeting! I couldn't believe how they treat me and my family!! Only to tell us to move from the door way, then greeted the guests behind us with fake ass smiles and flirting it up all because they were a group of men! Servers yelling at us and waiting over 30mins to be served with cold food! Plus another 20+mins for drinks that were awful! Completely and utterly the worst place I have ever been too! I won't be surprised if me or one of my family members gets sick from the awful undercooked and cold food that was served to us! Then they didn't have half of what was on their menu to begin with and the waiters argued with us with what we wanted to order! I will continue to hate this place and the service! Never have I ever been treated so rude by a restaurant! THANKS FOR RUINING MY MOM'S BIRTHDAY!

The place is a shithole. Took 40 minutes before someone acknowledged we were sitting at the bar. 6:30 on a Saturday and there were only about 15 people and 4 servers.....no joke either. I give it 6 months before it goes belly up or Jon Taffer from Bar Rescue comes in to change it up. What a shame..off to Roscoes I go

I never write reviews or complaints about establishments, but this place was so terrible that I had to write one. We went to eat dinner and have drinks here last night and the service was absolutely terrible. It was such a shame, because the food was actually decent. We had a party of 4 and were sitting at the bar. The bartender took about 10 min to even ask us for our order after being seated. Then, she handed us menus and took another 15 min to even come back and take our drink orders. 3 TIMES, she took orders for the rest of the people in my party and completely ignored me and walked away when i tried to order. We actually started making jokes about it because it happened so many times. Then, when the place turned into a "club" at 10pm, one of the bouncers came and took my brother's bar stool when he was in the bathroom. I asked him what he was doing and he said that he needed to take our chairs to clear the area for the dance floor (that CLEARLY nobody was dancing on), WHILE WE WERE STILL EATING. We ended up having to stand up to eat our food because they took our bar stools. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant or bar in my life. I will NEVER go to this place again. CLEARLY they do not care about providing even ADEQUATE customer service.

It was mine and my boyfriends first time at this pub, and I went in there excited for the food and atmosphere! Turns out they have shitty music, horrible service, and the food was alright if you could actually get all of it! I ordered the shepherds pie which was supposed to come with bread on the side which I never received, my boyfriend also ordered a burger with onion rings on the side which he also never got! Annoying!!! The food wasn't worth going back for, and lord knows the service wasn't worth it either... More training for these servers would be nice so she wouldn't have to keep coming back to our table with additional questions that should of already been asked when we ordered our food! So we had food missing, horrible service, and decent food... Probably won't be back but it was worth a try!

Been here 2-3 times. It's pretty crowded and gets hard to walk around at times. Had dinner here a few times, which is the highlight of the place. Another time I was here with a group for dinner and our waitress seemed upset because we were ordering drinks from the bar instead of just asking her. We would've done so if she came to check on our table regularly. There is a good selection of alcohol. Music here alright. Having a cover charge doesn't make the experience worth it. I'd only visit when it's not crowded. 2.75 stars.

After a Friday night dinner, I was forced to go to this place as I wasn't the one driving. Nonetheless, I kept my expectations of this place pretty low as I didn't enjoy myself last time. We parked at the same area so I was able to take a look at the dance floor and patio area. It seemed that they had more people this time than last time. Pretty much everything looked the same. What I couldn't believe was how long the line was. The line was stretched out to the business next door. May I remind them that this is CHINO HILLS! This isn't LA, you don't need to build up a line. After 30 excruciating minutes, we finally got in. The things that I didn't like about this place did not change. The lack of pitchers for an Irish pub; the inability to take a drink to the outside patio area. This place was just as bad as it was last time. What really ticked me off about this place were the DJ and his hypeman. I swear the DJ was repeating songs and his transitions were just awful. To top it off, this guy was kept talking and talking over the music. I know the music is crappy, but talking over it was making it worse. My advice if you live nearby: you're better off going to Pomona or Claremont. You will have a better time.

Horrible DJ here on a Friday night!!! 3/20/15 Curs the music too early, switching genres and beats all over the place. Dude find your style, feel out the crowd, and let it go! Smh

I see the bad reviews. But I've been here about 8 times since last year, and I've never had their problems. I always sit at the bar and the bartenders are always attentive. They are efficient, sweet, and reliable girls. I've never eaten food here, but the prices they have on beer make me feel like I'm robbing the place. Maybe I'm always going during their HH but I couldn't care less when the prices are so low!

This is one of the best kept secrets of the shoppes at chino hills! I love this little pub! I went on a Saturday night and it was a great bar scene. There was a little line to get in, but it moved pretty quickly. I also liked the fact that it wasn't too many wild people there and everyone was there for a goodtime! It's a def must visit!

Service was alright. The tuna tarte was bland and flavorless. My boyfriends onion rings came out burnt. The cheese on his philly cheese steak wasn't melted. Just awful food. We will not be coming back.

Went for Dodgers home opener, packed with Dodgers fans. Not sure if they were ready for that many ppl during lunch or under staff, they look a bit overwhelm. I put my patience hat on for them though. Staff was friendly and our food was good. And Dodgers won too. Overall good experience.

Worst service ever!! The bartender called out to my boyfriend in a crowd of people and literally YELLED at him in front of everyone because he didn't tip her enough. What the hell?? I keep trying to call to complain but apparently no one answers the phone.

  • Jerid N.

My first visit here happen to be on Dodgers Opening day 2015 so I knew it was gonna be crowded however I dont exaggerate the fact how me and my party had to wait over an hour to be serviced at all. We even in this hour had to switch locations and find new seats in order to maybe be served. When I finally was able to wave down a waitress who rolled her eyes in disbelief that she had to serve more people. We gave her both our food and drink order and well that was almost a whole hour until my girlfriends soda and my beer came which both ended up being either warm or completely watered down from it sitting with no one bringing it to us. So literally once our drinks came an hour later our food came which was the reason for the 2 stars because it was delicious I ordered the Guinness Stew and my gf ordered the bbq burger with onion rings. What made me most annoyed of all was the fact how I was able to see our waitress pay attention to parties that shes bringing 4 plus beers to their table multiple times before even looking in our direction. I personally very rarely ever say anything to a waitress about their service to their face but I needed to say something in this event. I explained to her how she seemed to be very slow and she said sorry but it was busy and their understaffed, but I flat out told her that i clearly saw her giving service to other tables by bringing multiple rounds of beer before my 1 beer even showed up to the table and she after had no comment no apology and I even told her that I was not gonna pay for the soda that she tried charging me 3 dollars for which was completely watered down and no refill was provided to us. So I was fine paying for a few of the items but I did not want to give this place another chance for that horrible service and purposeful ignoring. It sounds terrible but I gave her a quarter for a tip for our almost 30 dollar bill just so she understood that you need to provide a decent service to receive a tip from a customer. 2nd Visit: I have a long review because I wanted to mention my revisit which was a normal Friday night which honestly I give a 4 star to this visit. I unfortunately forgot the name of our waitress ( She has a light Blue strip in her hair) she was great and extremely attentive to us along with others she was serving. Overall this experience made my extremely happy and more hopeful for this place knowing theres plenty of good service here its just some individuals slip through the cracks and have terrible service. I will be back soon though.

Just go to Buffalo Wild Wings instead. Came here to watch the ufc fight tonight. This is the worse customer service ever. Came in at 6:30, and finally got our food at 8:00. And we only ordered calamari and soup. I understand your busy but like the only time our server came into contact with us was when she gave us water when we sat down. Waited 30 minutes for someone to ask us if we were doing ok. Uhh no, so she went to try to find our server. 20 mins later same girl finally said she will take our order since our server seems to be too busy. 30mins passed, we only ordered soup and fried calamari, no actual dish. Still no food. It's been about 1hr and a half. Still no food. And our server still has never asked us shit. 2hrs later finally got our food. Reordered another beer and took 30mins to get to us. When we got the check they charged us extra for the beer because they change the prices after 9. WE ORDERED THE DAMN BEER BEFORE 9 but they're asses took that long to give it to us. I'm patient, but this is ridiculous. They do not know how to handle a busy night. 3 hours of my life I will never get back.

Horrible service! The multiple girls in the front don't care about the restaurant and must take it as a joke, by the customer service they posses. Came here one evening to watch the fight. Sat at a table for about 5 min until I had to get up and get my own menu. Waitress finally comes 10 minutes later. Food was ok. Except that we didn't have silverware or napkins for awhile. While we were eating the waitress decided she was going to clock out and insisted on us closing the bill and paying now. We still were going to order drinks, so she left the check with the bar. No one checked up on us the rest of the night. When we were ready we told the person in the bar to check how much was on my gift card. When she comes back she had rung up are check with the gift-card. Who is ok with paying for something when they haven't even seen the bill?! This was ridiculous. Will never come here to watch a fight or dinner again.

Cool spot to grab a brew. The service is good. And the waitress are always positive and smiling. The food is average, your typical appetizers and what not. On Fridays in turns into a club after 9. So make sure your 21. The DJ spins old school tunes, which is cool, gets me a bit nostalgic. But it's get packed, but not to the point where your uncomfortable. The girls at the bar dance and always have a good attitude. Good place to go and have a good time.

We just walked into this restaurant this afternoon and it reeked like a dirty mop bucket and urine. Can you say unappetizing? Even though we wanted to eat here, we couldn't stand to eat food in that stench.

Definitely somewhere I will come back to! I had a blast, from what I can remember. Although I didn't have anything to eat, the drinks were fantastic! Check in and you get a dollar off a beer. The bartenders were awesome, and we're able to cater to everyone's needs, really appreciated that. The bathrooms have helpers, something or other where they turn the faucet on for you and hand you napkins. That made my day, lol. Overall, great place, great location.

Used to like this place, until my last visit. The first time we sit at a table to order food and drinks and this is what happens. They expect you to know their prices change and that they "don't have to tell you that". That's just wrong. The waitress looked like she felt dumb when confronted. She gets her manager and he is so rude, yelling at us, being an a**, and blaming us. No apology, no nothing. At least a heads up from the waitress before we ordered, like "hey guys prices go up on weekends". Or even fine print on the menu "prices subject to change". There was no warning whatsoever. So hey jacka**, obviously WE DIDN'T KNOW, just like we told you. But you say its our fault. So everywhere I go do I need to ask if their advertised prices are the real prices?! Who does that? What an idiot. Never coming back.

The fish and chips are very fatty, meaning that the breading was more than twice the capacity of the fish inside... Do not recommend them at all unless you just want a big plate of deep fried batter and fries. Also we had a cockroach walk down the window onto our table while we were eating

    (2)
  • Matt N.

I enjoy coming here with my friends. Place gets pretty packed on the weekends and the guy to girl ratio can get pretty lopsided...Im talking about 3:1 sometimes. If youre going with friends to relax and just have fun, its wont disappoint. Try coming here to pick up chicks and you will be at war with more than half of the customers here. Come for guys and it'll be a dream come true for you. Drinks are decently priced and never had a problem ordering drinks. I expect a little wait when its crowded, i can see the bartenders trying their best though. security is cool, those guys are always friendly and understanding unless youre a trouble maker. Ill be coming here again.

Never going back to this place again. Horrible service and unprofessional management. My family and I were having a good time until the workers started coming up to our area to remove our tables to make room for the dj. A warning was never given and the busboys started taking drinks, cleaning up and removing our tables. The supposedly acting manager "John" who refused to disclose his last name (big guy) was completely rude and unprofessional. John started giving us attitude when we asked him what was going on. Our waitress was never around and clearly did not give us a warning or offer to bring us our tabs to close out in order to find a new area.

This place gets three stars because the food was less than tasty on the evening I attended. I was there for a birthday party and the sampler plates were passed around. I tried a little of everything and listened to people mention their level of disinterest in their foods flavor. I don't think this was an "off night" for the kitchen. The place looks great. It has space for a dance floor at the back that has its own bar to service the more active crowd. Plenty of seats for the family and kids and has a nice outdoor patio...THAT YOU CANNOT DRINK ON! I was told that a rowdy group started throwing beers at the local police one night. I am sure they were cited if not arrested. The bar lost their ability to allow people to drink in the patio. The bar loses a star for that. I like to drink outside when there is an opportunity. The food is bland, you cannot drink on the patio and they don't play Irish music...what's the point of going? The beer is priced well and the staff is friendly. There is a ton of parking behind the bar and the area it is located in is nice for an evening stroll.

We came in on a Sunday around 1pm. There were 4 hostesses and 1 waitress all standing at the front going thru their phones. As we came in we were not really greeted. I don't think they took their eyes of their phones. We were told go ahead and sit where ever we want. We sat and the waitress brought some menus minus the kids menu for my 6 yr. Old. It wasn't until I got up and asked that they handed me one. We were 1 of two tables and it still took at least 30 mins to bring our food out. The children's plate (pasta) was really overcooked and dry. Our burgers were ok. The waitress didn't check on us we had to get up and flag her down for anything we wanted. As we sat the 3 hostesses sat by the front and continued scrolling thru their phones the entire time we ate. Only stopping to criticize a waitress that came in. "Ugh why is SHE here?!" Overall not the best experience I don't think I will be returning.

I really really wanted to like this place. Been here twice. I won't be coming back. The food is really sub par. I've had the corned beef thinking it would be really good at an Irish pub. It was dried out like it had been microwaved. I've tried the fish and chips. It wasn't good either. YUCK!

Came here last night for the first time and will definitely be the last! Horrible service! Our waitress Candice only came by to take our order and drop off the drinks and didn't even acknowledge us after that. We asked for ranch and water and never got them! She had an ugly stupid attitude and just looked pissed the whole time. Its not our fault you're a waitress and u hate your job! If you're not going to do your job right go find another job! Since I couldn't find Candice anywhere I asked some girl who was at the front desk for help, and she clearly looked annoyed and told me "idk, you need to find your waiter" and just walked away! I will never be Coming here again!

So here's the deal. This ISN'T an irish pub. At all. Not even close to a pub atmosphere. It's pretty crappy, service is slow, food is nothing special. I went here because The Pub in Chino Hills stopped serving food and I love myself some decent bar food. First I got seated, the hostess was pleasant and welcoming, but only just. Then I sat and was told my server would be with me shortly. It was a sunday night, about 10 o'clock, not really busy but they had maybe two servers on. It was around ten minutes before anyone came over. I was almost about to walk out I was sick of waiting. The server was very nice and sweet, though, when she finally came around. So point there. Now, on to the food. The food was a severe let down. I ordered the Dillon's Mac and Cheeseburger with their 'house' fries. Let me just say, I don't think there was a single item on my plate that didn't come frozen. I ordered my burger medium rare, it came out medium well. The mac and cheese had that rubbery consistency you get when you microwave left overs. The bun was chewy. The fries were steak fries I could find in an albertsons freezer aisle. I know I shouldn't expect but from a pub, but they do advertise for breakfast and lunch so i was hoping they'd have a decent kitchen. However I left extremely disappointed and unlikely to return.

One of the only two bars in Chino/Chino Hills to show the Dodgers game on opening day and they were prepared as if they never heard of baseball. Service was terrible. Management was worse. Over an hour and a half wait for our food.

Went there Saturday night waited in line almost 2 hours to get in. Securities think they're cops n act all hard. They said the place was full that's why they couldn't let more people go in but when some people showed up that knows somebody there, they go in like if the place was empty and for all the people that was waiting don't think is fair. They need to get securities with common sense and knows how to treat people right.

Well tonight you blew it Dillion ' s. Service was (first word that comes to mind) Horrible! Sat at a table right behind the bar and was literally ignored for 15 minute's. Never a hello or a shout out from the bar about being right with you. Didn't see a server or an employee working the floor. Now the bouncer was the only one that at least offered a hello but that's because he was doing his job and checking ID's.

Dillons is a great spot to go to on a Friday or Saturday night for dancing. It does not have an irish Pub vibe what-so-ever on these evenings, and turns more into an LA Club scene. The DJ plays Top 40 and Hip-Hop music and typically the selection is amazing. The dance floor tends to get overcrowded, but there are plenty of places to sit and get fresh air if needed. It's also a great spot for people-watching because you'll find girls dressed in jeans and a tank, but also decked out in Vegas style clothing! When I have eaten here, the food selection is average. I would not recommend it to people in regards to a place to have dinner, but would tell a friend to go get a drink here.

Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. I literally only go here when forced (e.g. Someone celebrating a birthday here) This place is trying to be something it's not, it is deemed an Irish pub yet they have rules like it was a club out in Hollywood. Service and food is horrible.

  • Jay S.

This place is aweful. Food is mediocre...and the crowd is...well...apparently it is wanting. Stopped by tonight to grab a beer....and the bouncers met me at the door demanding I take my unmarked flat gray flat cap off....(my hat) Hell no. I'll be damned if some cheap bar that attracts cheap people that induce a no hat policy makes me take my hat off. The sooner this bar closes...the better off Chino Hills will be. I have been to many a dive bar...and my hat stays on... If a bar is so shitty that they need to adopt a dress code...move on. We dont want you here....(went to vons and mentioned this to the patrons...and more than one grimaced and said..."that place is aweful..." Amen. Pack it up and leave town...sickly chain bar with no roots in the true irish heritage. Be gone.

This place deserves no stars. Waited over an hour for lettuce wraps!! Horrible customer service with the girls upfront. They seat their friends before customers. This place is going under and it shows. I give it six months before they are BK. STAY AWAY!!

Okay so I really love this bar. My main issue is with the bouncers one in particular. An over roided tattooed white boy. He is literally THE rudest person I ever met and this is not the first time I've been graced by his presence at the door. He is so incredibly rude and disrespectful to women and looks at and treats them like they are pieces of s***! Not to mention the way he speaks. I've talked to other people as well about him and they all have said the same things. Dude relax it's only bouncing I get that the bar has had violence issues in the past but really like I'm a 5'3 white girl from the valley what does it look like I would do? I swear it's like he learned whatever lack of manners he has from the freggin zoo! They're mothers must be so proud. Management should really teach they're bouncers how to be respectful to their patrons.

Not an Irish pub at all. Not good service, the food was subpar at the most. No irish music to be heard at all. The avocado fries make you think you it will be good food, and the drinks are good, but that's where it ended. Will not be going back anytime soon. Went for lunch and it was DEADER then DEAD.

The food is great but overall service sucks I went last night and every single bar tender was rude all the blonde girls had a shitty attitude like they didn't want to be there they just kept ignoring us..The male bartenders working the bar by the dance floor apparently didn't like females. They kept assisting all the males and ignoring the females at the bar. Very very poor service I would never go back and definitely wouldn't recommend it

The food was horrible, I ordered a turkey burger, i have never tasted a burger as bad as this one, I let the waitress know and she did not look even surprise or sorry when I told her I was not gonna eat that. She did not even care. First and last time at this place, never coming back.

MooI got admit dillions has gotten worse...i use to like coming here...till they started charging for anything to make a $...from watch special events...n etc...the food seem to be a bit ok now...when they 1st open they the food was good...loved the nachos...until they lessen the amount...use to be a big portion...not no more...the big problem I hate when they changed us now a cover charge on fights...b4 it's was $25 gift card per person to enter...not no more...i rather go to yard house now...at least there nothing changes...

This used to be my go to place. I'd come and grab a drink here and it was awesome. Now, it's a giant shit hole filled with filth and bro hoes. Don't come here. Don't eat here. Don't drink here. The managers are awful. The bartenders are awful. There is nothing good about this place any more. Go to Tilted Kilt just down the street.

Make sure when you're standing in line that you don't encounter the white bouncer with a lip full of dip. He's super discriminatory and will only let you in if you hand him money or if your tits are out. Dress appropriately and bring change.

This used to be the spot to go in chino hills. Was always a good vibe and it had a good crowd. Of course this was like the first year that it was open....myself and a large group of friends don't go there anymore because they have ridiculous rules that they didn't have before such as you can't wear hats or wear shorts. It's just a bar, we're not in Vegas now guys lol. PLUS.....the crowd is really and I mean really ghetto. Go on a weekend and see for yourself. Just a bunch of people from Pomona and ontario. Used to be a good spot idk what happened. Food is not bad though.

We were hoping for an authentic Irish pub experience but it fell short. There were certainly some enjoyable options but they weren't consistent with the Irish pub genre (i.e. steak nachos, etc.) One of the few traditional dishes that they serve is corned beef and cabbage but it is far from traditional. It was thin sliced and tasted more like sweet meatloaf than corned beef, almost as of they were trying to make it a signature dish as opposed to a traditional dish. If you're looking for a place to watch the game with a few beers and a BBQ chicken pizza, you'll probably really enjoy it. That's not what we were looking for, though, so we were less than satisfied.

Came in here for drinks on a Saturday night! This review is for the music. The DJ was on point playing 90's music! There was a good crowd of people. The mojito unfortunately was watered down. The Tokyo Tea was perfect and so was the amaretto sour. I have not tried the food yet.

Three And half stars and that's because they've improved somewhat! First time here it was so loud (still really early maybe 6-7?) so definitely not a place for conversations. Food wasn't that good. Came back a few months later for happy hour drinks which weren't priced too bad. Came last night and it was a lot better. Our waitress was Vanessa who was really sweet and wasn't obscenely dressed or tremendously rude like I've experienced in the past. She checked back with us as well as the other tables around us a lot. It was happy hour so appetizers were 25% off, beer was $3 for 16 oz and $5 for $22, and its pretty good quality (I got hangar 24 Betty Ipa which was pretty good). I ordered the ultimate nachos which were $1 originally but we're 25% off. They were huge and decked out in bens cheese guac and sour cream. My only complaint is they were a little cold like they'd been sitting there. My boyfriend got the Mac and cheese burger. He's really picky about Mac and cheese (none of that Kraft stuff for him) and he said it was pretty good. Overall, it's a place I'd come for happy hour and that's about it

So not an Irish pub. This place is somewhat new so things still sparkle, but other than that it has no feel of an Irish pub. This is a California bar with green accents. Sad to see so many twenty something kids thinking this is Ireland. Food is decent and mostly fried or grilled. Typical pub food. Some things they get right and others they leave in too long and taste burnt. Food takes a long time to be served. Lots of beers on tap. But no real emphasis to be Irish. Same beers as Buffalo Wild Wings down the street. On that note, BWW had better food and service for the same price. Bouncers here are ignorant douche bags. Mad dog guys then ask if you have a problem. Not joking. Just asking rude like and ready to kick you out if you joked that you did. They eyeball the ladies and jesture and laugh making them uncomfortable. Total buzz kill. Overall there is no real reason to go here other than your friends might like it so you have to in order to hangout. But if that if the case, get some new friends.

Wurst. Bar. Ever. We went to Dillon's on a Friday night. Dillon's in Chino Hills. There was a line to get in....a line...for a bar....a bar in Chino friggin' Hills. Please, Dillon's, get over yourselves. After waiting through their pretentious line, I still found myself in a bar in Chino Hills. The line didn't whisk you off to a Secret Vegas/Hollywood/NYC playland. It was a bar with a dance floor....errrrr.... Standing floor. At the end of the night, I belly up to the bar at 1:22AM. I watch the batender ignore me as she serves everyone else. I try not to be rude and just be patient, hoping my politeness would be recoginzed. Nope. The lights come on at 1:30AM and now she finds the time to talk to me, " Sorry, we're not serving anymore." I explain that I was waiting patiently while I watched her served everyone else. She didn't care and pretty told me, "Too Bad." While I was mad, I was glad at the same time. I was glad that I didnt have to give this overly pretentious bar another penny. So, they are closing. What do people want to do after drinking? Drain the lizard of course. Too bad, suckas! They close the bathroom. What is up with these guys? After your customers paid for your overpriced drinks, the least you could do is let them use your restroom. Dillon's takes your money then herds you out at the end of the night. No bathroom, do not pass go. So what happens? You have dozens of guys uriniating in public on the walls of the stripmall. Just as classy as Dillon's. Dillon's, you're not going to be the burbs' bees knees forever. You are not doing yourself any favors by not building any kind of loyalty through customer service. You're just a pretentious wannabe hot spot...in Chino Hills.

Just okay. My husband and I may give it another try later with different menu items but so far I'm not impressed for the price. Sunday for lunch was pretty quiet. I only got $1 off a drink for checking into Yelp (others say they got a free drink) and the server didn't remember to take it off the bill. I got the Mahi mahi tacos. Dry, tasteless and no sides for $11.00. Won't order that again. My hubby got the club with salad as a side. Salad was fine. Sandwich on regular wheat bread for $12.00 was good with the bacon and avocado, but still too high in cost. Atmosphere is very dark and you can't take alcohol on the patio outside yet (no license). Service was friendly but considering the high prices for so-so food I can think of better places to go for lunch. I may come back just for drinks sometime...maybe.

Service is 1 star, food is 3 stars; hence the 2 star average. Went on a Saturday night, around 830. There was a $20 cover charge per person to get in, due to some ultimate fighting on tv. Didn't mind the cover charge since it was a "gift card", useable on the same night. Got seated at a bad table, where 2 of the guests had to face the wall. Took 15 minutes to take drink orders, another 10 minutes to get the drinks, and then the waitress never comes back to take the food order until someone from our party makes a big stink. Orders are finally placed after an hour of being seated. Really!?! It was like being a guest in a restaurant being featured on Restaurant Stakeout. Ordered the appetizer platter (avocado fries, sliders, wings, and calamari) and some raw oysters. All the food was great and they had a lot of TVs. Too bad the service sucked.

Beer selection is jusy so-so and service is getting worse. Some good bartenders have left, too bad the ones who left were very good with the patrons. Food is still underwhelming even with happy hour. Very bad management. Compare the management here wit Yardhouse aound the block and see the difference. Place has also gotten raunchier and is not safe on Friday and Saturday nights. the crowd is no longer local.

Wow...I've been wanting to come over here for a long time...but the lines were always so long. Finally, the day I went, there was hardly anybody. =) When we were walking, we noticed the outside patio had these beautiful fireplaces on rectangular tables and towers of red fiery flames blazing to create a sense of comfort. Once we walked inside, the restaurant was dark and had poor lighting. We sat near the bar area and received our menus ten minutes later...We couldn't even read the menu due to the poor lighting...so we used our phone...pretty sad right?... What we ordered: 1. Dillon's Mac & Cheeseburger-The hamburger buns were like from a cheap 99¢ store brand buns...Not grilled correctly either...The mac and cheese tasted very much like powder...The 8 oz. Kobe beef patty was charbroiled, hard, dry, you name it! I ordered medium rare...it came out extra well done and then some. The side that I chose was sweet potato fries. These at first tasted good; however, once I ate more...some were uncooked, soggy and they left the end of the yam in it...so they didn't cut that part out. (Ketchup here is apparently scarce and they don't have bottles...so you have to deal with the little sauce cups...had to get three of them). 2. Steak ultimate nachos-The steak was dry! The guacamole tasted not fresh and made not right at all. The beans were not good. The pico de gallo was the only thing that tasted good. The cheese was hardened. The chips were overcooked and it hardened very quickly... 3. Woodchuck apple cider-Great! Tasted just like apple cider! =) 4. Newcastle-Tastes the same from a bottle. The service here was good. Four stars to the waitress. The servers here are like the opposite of Hooters...more junk in the trunk. Overall, I would not recommend this place to eat! Save your time and money. Prices here was pretty high for this type of "quality" food... Note: I would only recommend coming here for drinks. Beers are like $3 for 16 oz. and $5 for 22 oz. Also, for youngsters...they check ID's so don't come here past your bedtime. =)

First time at Dillon's for lady's night and the best part, we got a table right away and manegment approach our table and was very attentive and helpful on food and drink menu..The menu had a variety of foods, I recommend their Shepherds pie made with lamb it was delicious. The pub atmosphere was really friendly and I tryied Irish whisky for my first time, it's not for the faint of heart ;) I recommend Dillons great place to be with friends and make new ones!

Been to the Dillon's in Hollywood and had a great time! Whole nother story in CH. Server was pleasant but way too over extended. Entre came before salad, no silverware in patio. Also, there is a police-state prescence sooo many rent a cops!! More servers, less security guards!!!

After months of Happy Hours at Yard House and Ra. After months of talking obvious coming to Dillon's, we actually did. I don't know what we were waiting for, but now we can't wait to come back! I arrived later than the rest of my group and everyone was getting up and moving when I got there. I thought they were all getting up and leaving because I was so late, but I digress. They were being moved because the hostess had accidentally sat us in a reserved section. The manager came per and apologized profusely as she moved us to our new table and bought us a round and two desserts to thank us for moving. Honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal because we're all pretty easy going, but its the thought that counts and she definitely took care of us. The hostess came over and apologized as well. We definitely appreciate the attention to service we got. Now, on to the food. I don't know what was consumed before I got there, but I know what the Yelp community told me to order (and I did). -Fried Avocado: so good we ordered two! It comes out resembling fried zucchini and tastes so much better! Imagine creamy, delicious avocado enveloped in a crispy blanket. The crunchy and the smooth were perfect together. On the side is a lemon mayo and chili aioli and both were good. While they're great on their own, I liked the combo of them mixed together (as per our servers suggestion). I will absolutely be ordering these again and again! -Smoked Artichoke: the artichoke was delicious! It was smokey and tasty. I liken it to the smoked artichoke at Lucille's, minus the balsamic. It was good, I'll be ordering it again. -Mac n Cheese Burger Sliders: wow! These little guys were just amazing! The sliders themselves came out on a deliciously chewy bun, similar to a King's Hawaiian roll. The burger patty was juicy and tender. The Mac n Cheese on top was cheesy and delicious, and held together nicely was we ate the burger. Everything was perfect here, I didn't need to add anything. The fries that came with it were great too. -Chicken Quesadilla: the quesadilla was good, but came at an unfortunate point in our appetizer frenzy. Tis was one of the lat things we ordered and we were probably a little too excited. Don't get me wrong, it was good but we had eaten our fill. The portion size was generous and daunting. I'm embarrassed to say we only ate two pieces of the quesadilla as an entire table because no one was hungry anymore. It was good, I'd consider ordering it again but I think it's clear what my favorites were! The dessert the manager gave us was the bread pudding. She spoke so highly of it that we had to get it, and boy was she rightL the bread pudding was toasty warm when it came out. It was ooey-gooey and delicious. The custard was sweet and delicious. The ice cream on top was a nice pairing, the warm and cold worked well together. The whiskey sauce on top was the figurative icing on the cake. Overall, this desert was delicious and not to be missed. I think it's safe to say that we'll be back!

I really wish I could give this business zero stars. My family and I came here for my sister's birthday. We had a ton of fun when the three of us got there. The bartender (guy with plugs, and the original server) were extremely hospitable and helpful. Since we were planning on staying at Dillons for awhile to drink eat we told people to stop in as they wanted. As the place transitioned to a club my experience went downhill. At this point our party had spent at least $600 on food and alcohol and we were told the dj was moving in. Then security guards, we hadn't talked to yet, came up to our table and tried to kick us out of our table without reseating us. There was no attempt to to make us happy or make the situation better. They told our DD she couldn't have her lemonade on the deck in glass outside, okay I understand the rule, when we asked at this point for a plastic cup the security guards response "I'm not a server". So they kicked us onto the deck and wouldn't accommodate us. The servers were great and so helpful. The security guards NEED to go.

Kobe sliders topped with Mac n cheese ... need i say more?! went there on a Friday night, on a whim.... the wait was long enough to enjoy a 20oz pint of beer at the bar. service at the 'front' bar was too slow for my taste. so i cruised to the 'back bar' and had a Smithwicks in my hand inside of 20 seconds. nice service with a smile at the back bar... dinner was great, service on point, and the food.. WOW i'd drive back here just for a bite of that kobe mac-n-cheese slider.. YUM

Was excited to have a closer location since I really enjoyed the la Dillion's. Came in and sat at the bar first, the bartender was very helpful I liked her. Then went to our table when our group arrived. Service was eh..just a little scarce the servers changed and disppeared , would wait awhile for drink orders and then receiving the drinks also. Ordered the mac n cheese burger, asked for medium rare and it was more well. I remember liking the food at the la location but here it was just ok. KInd of a let down after getting all excited. If I ever go to Dillion's again I'll probably go to the Hollywood location.

Wow. Service here sucks. I came here with my friends at around 9:30pm and we were seated outside. We came on a weekday so it wasn't that busy. My friends were here first so our waters came pretty quick. All my friends ordered and all the food took about 45 minutes. The drinks didn't take as long as the food but it still took about 20 minutes to get 2 alcoholic drinks. The waitress that helped us came by more often AFTER we paid just to make sure we were ok or if we needed anything else. I think she should do that WHILE we were eating because one of my friends wanted barbecue sauce when she got her food but it took so long to get the barbecue sauce that my friend finished her fries first and was almost done the burger (only 1/4 of it left). Maybe it's because they just recently opened and they don't have the groove of things yet but they need to fix this. I'll probably come back in the next couple of months to see if they fixed their service but for now, I'd rather go somewhere else.

This place used to be fun back in the mid 2000's when I was in college. Now it's a dump that's been mostly empty during my last visits. The last of my visits was the worse by far. The bouncer was extra douchey and eyed us up and down to make sure we were wearing "appropriate attire" for this bar. Mind you we were dressed in heels and cute tops. We went in to an empty bar and had one drink before bailing elsewhere. Don't waste hour time and money on this place.

Dillons is such a great place, i love it here! drinks are super cheap for the amount you get... has to be my favorite pub... i had dillons at 5 stars but they lost a star because, 1 they raised the prices of the drinks from a pint being 3 to 4 and the tall glass from 5 to 6 not only that but they go up even more on the weekends from the pints being i believe 6 and the talls being 8. i don't think its fair to the customers that they feel they can change the prices whenever they feel like. im all for a business making their money but seriously come on, dillons you're better than that!!!!

nice Big clean place! Lots of seating and tons of TV's!! There's TWO bars!!! The food is pretty darn good for an Irish pub. Ive had several things on the menu, the most interesting being the Avocado Fries and the Lettuce wraps.. both worthy of a try. THe wait staff is decent. Cute skirts on the girls makes it festive and easy on the eyes. Its not the best sellection of beers on Tap, (B+) but dang close for about 20-30 Taps.. Service is decent with room to improve.. Any experienced diner like me knows that youve gotta give a new place a break on this until the staff is humming along like a well oiled machine.. Its not there yet, but way tollerable.. Im loving this so far!! Fun place.. Cool peeps.. all the above!

The facilities was beautiful! Wood and wrought iron decor was nicely crafted. Surround televisions at the bar and through out the restaurant was excellent for the pub oriented guess. But I had such high hopes for the food and it fell short. I ordered the Kobe beff siders with Mac & chess. The Hawaiian sweet bread was changed out for mini burger buns and they were not soft/fresh but a little tough and chewy. I also ordered the Tortilla soup and I could not eat it. It was garnished with chips and avocado but the flavor was off and slightly overcooked. The manager was very pleasant and said she planned to take it off the menu. I tasted the artichoke. It was oily but had good flavor. Overall, the food did not rate as high as the decor. Maybe they had an off day, maybe I'll try their desserts next time because they looked amazing.

Got to say the bartenders were friendly, but that was about it the bouncers are all a joke. We were there for a friends birthday when ahead of us there seemed to be a issue with a patron. Instead of letting cooler heads prevail the bouncer pushed the man and his wife. Well that set off a chain of events. At one point one bouncer actually looked at the wife and punched her. Did I feel safe bringing my lady to this establishment after this. NOPE will my group of friends and myself ever attend this place in the near future NOPE. Please correct your staffs thinking I have been to many bars never seen what I saw there that night. The lies the staff told cops did not match what the crowd said.

Let me start off by saying, I have never commented on yelp about ANY restaurant I've eaten at, good or bad. Mainly because MOST people on yelp have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to food. Seeing as how this place is new, i figured id warn people before they WASTED their money as I did. Its got a great ambiance inside and outside on the patio, the beers are decently priced and they seem to have a good selection. Its probably because its recently opened that the food runners walk by with your order a few times before they ask if its yours. The Food is BLAND CITY. Unless you enjoy tasteless mashed potatoes covered in cheese over your already bland, and entirely too loose Sheppard pie filling, and your food to come out of the kitchen cold, I'd say your best bet would be to have a few beers, and walk to another restaurant near by. I have never had a server ask if we could pay our bill (before we got our entree) because her shift is ending and she didn't want to not get tipped, until now. Kind of sad too because we would have ordered a few more rounds of drinks. Our night ended with us having to make something to eat when we got home since we hardly touched out meals. P.S. Do NOT order the dinner rolls, or you will get rock hard, pre-sliced brioche slider buns that they haven't thrown out yet.

Good atmosphere but really bad service. First impression walking in was great! We're moving to the area and were excited at the prospect of having a local bar to take friends to on the weekends. For this occasion, we were there for a birthday dinner with about 14 people. We walked in and the security was really strict. They checked our ID even though it was only 8pm. Our party was waiting in the patio area for a table. They don't take reservation so if you're going with a large group, definitely give yourself a good 2 hours for a table. My husband and I ordered drinks at the bar and that was pretty painless and the prices were reasonable for the drinks. Our whole party was there and we waited and waited for a table. Finally, an hour and a half went by but still our pager had not gone off. One of the people in our party noticed that they had seated new people at a large table even though we had been waiting for almost 2 hours. Finally when the 2 hour mark hit, we decided to approach the hostesses. And wow what attitudes these hostesses had! They were so unresponsive and rude that instead of trying to make us feel better, they made the situation worse. We were observing the staff and noticed how frazzled they all were. I get that this is a new place but don't open until you're ready to serve your customers in an organized manner! We asked to speak to the manager and what a surprise, even she was not helpful. I think she thinks she's running a posh restaurant in LA. She should take her attitude down a notch. Either way, we argued with her enough where they some how forced some tables together for us outside. By then, no one was in the mood to stay but since we had all wasted 2 hours there already, we decided to stay seated at the awkwardly set table outside. We ordered our food and I got the buffalo chicken wings. Not surprisingly, the food took probably another 45 minutes but not mine! The chicken wings didn't come out until everyone else was almost done with theirs. After that, another looong wait for the cake to come out which we had brought then another looong wait for the bill and another looong wait to get our bill paid. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for dinner! The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars and not 1 is because it's a good place ONLY to grab a drink. This way, you don't have to interact too much with the horrible staff and manager. :)

This place is a nice change from the OC bar scene, much better looking bitches, more willing to conversate with you instead of the cold shoulder... Resonably priced drinks and cool young crowd. Will be back. Review is for saturday night only

The food is excellent & the selection of beers is awesome! Since the taps are new, you could really get a good beer. The service is ok. The servers don't really go out of their way to provide the best customer service. I was there on a slow Friday afternoon & it took 20 minutes to get our drinks after ordering. Our server checked on my table twice & we were there for about 2 hours. Here's the kicker... I actually had to haggle for a VETERAN'S Discount! I had to talk to a manager & the manager said that the restaurant did not provide this type of discount. I've been to the Hollywood Dillon's & the bartender that served me there didn't even hesitate to give me a discount... I went back to the Hollywood Dillon's 2 weeks later & a different bartender gave me & 3 of my friends a free shot, also without hesitating or asking for "proof". I also don't appreciate this type of generic, corporate version of an Irish pub in a city like Chino Hills. This isn't Glendale or Pasadena! This is definitely NOT Hollywood! This is a residential community with a history for being a farming community. Why not ask the community what type of pub WE want here? & the leaders in the city government now have relationships to the developers who opened The Shoppes. I don't mind bringing an economy to Chino Hills, but they're hurting the Family Community cultural identity this city was founded on. People move to Chino Hills to LIVE, NOT PARTY!

This place is fairly new and so I understand that they are still in that "training mode". After reading some of the other posts, I am shocked because I had a great experience at Dillon's. I met a friend for dinner and drinks after work and right off the bat we were welcomed with open arms by one of the friendliest servers I have come across in a long time. Nicole was her name and she was so sweet and helpful and knew a lot about the menu and offered her suggestions. She suggested the Avocado fries for starters and at first I was a little hesitant because I have had fried avocado before and it was so mushy but these ones were PERFECT and I enjoyed the dipping sauces that came with. We also ordered the Chicken Tarragon Salad and The Protein plate....both were good. I want to go back and order the Corned Beef and Cabbage and maybe also try The Sheppard's Pie. All in all we had a great time and again...our server, Nicole was off the hook amazing!!!

I'm shocked this place has such low ratings, because I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The only thing that sucked was the DJ. I could have plugged in my iPod to the speakers and we'd have better music. Other than that, the place is spacious, drinks are cheap, and the service is good. I came here on a Saturday night without reservations for a party of 20+. I spoke with a manager, and he was very accommodating. He told us the outside patio is first come first serve starting at 8pm, so our best bet would be to come back grab the table before anyone else does. To our surprise, the manager had the tables set up and held for our big group.

Came on a weekday during lunch time thinking it wouldn't be crowded, which it wasn't. It took forever to be help; I had to flag down a server. I don't understand why there are TOO many hostesses standing doing nothing and just a few servers. We ordered a beer but took us about 10 min to received it. Our food took 20 min. You would think food would taste great if it took a long time, but that was not the case. After eating, it took another 15 min just to receive our bill. Woodchuck Hard Cider (22oz) $6- Taste just like apple cider Mac & Cheeseburger $ 12 with a side of tortilla soup- I asked for medium rare, but they cook my meat well done. Mac & cheese has no flavor, nor did the meat. Tortilla soup was also bland and VERY mushy. Shepherd's pie $13- made with lamb meat, but everything tasted bland. Side of beer battered onion rings $5- fluffy with no taste, medium size. It came with ONLY 4 pieces!! Wtf? I personally think the best part of the whole meal was the side of garlic bread that came with the Shepherd's pie. It had perfect burnt edges and crunch, with the right amount of garlic butter. Hence the +1 star Overall, I was very disappointed with the food & the service. But will come back for their Cheap beers 16 oz/22 oz (Domestic $3/$5 & Import $4/$6) +1 star Hopefully my next trip will be better & TASTIER and change my =( to =)

My friend an I went for dinner on a Friday night. Once we approached the entrance, four of the employees greet us with a big smile and got to our table in less than 15 minutes. We've waited at the bar and got a couple of drinks before headed to our table. All the bar tender and waitresses we've encountered are super friendly and attentive. We got the Dillon's platter and Fillet Mignon to share. The food are better than average and the split our entree without requesting it, which I thought was very nice. The ambiance is bar and pub like which is great for hanging out with friends to watch any sports. Perfect place for the occasion! We were happy with everything during this visit!

Came here for a friend's birthday recently, and had mixed feelings about this place after reading some reviews. I sat down at the bar with my boyfriend as we joined our friend's group, and never got asked what we would like to drink, or even got offered a menu. The guy that was walking around inside seemed to pay attention to the other patrons more than us, and there wasn't even that many people there. When another waitress finally came around, we ordered the nachos and french fries, and enjoyed our beers. I don't know if it was happy hour or not, but $3 for a Blue Moon? I was happy. The nachos were pretty good, they hella caked on the cheese, which I highly appreciated and made it ooey and gooey when it came out. The plethora of colored chips kept it festive, as promised. I do wish they put more jalepenos on it, but not a lot of people can eat them, so I understood why. The fries were great. I'm p icky about what type of fry I eat, so they were perfectly golden brown, and crispy. I love french fries when they're a tad mushy, so there were two varieties, so fist pump for that! The downside? The waitress said it would be seasoned? There wasn't even a lick of salt on our fries, so I wasn't too happy about that. Aside from that, the service was mediocre. Our waitress never really checked up on us, and we never saw the waiter again. One of my girl friend's that was sitting next to me, paid $20 for her Blue Moon (which costed $3), and never got her change back, until we had to ask someone else 20 minutes into waiting. Will I be back? Probably not, but it was a good experience for our friend's birthday shindig. The beer prices on tap were excellent though, so if I do come back... it would be for that pure reason - otherwise I'm sticking with Yardhouse across the street.

I am a "regular" here, only because of the $5 Racer5 pints. I've never actually eaten here, but some of my friends have(didn't look good at all). The food is overpriced dive bar food. Eat at your own risk. The best things about this place are: they have a free pool table, plenty of tvs to watch a game, and they show ppv boxing events for free.

I've been here quite a few times, great sports bar feel. Definitely outdoes any sports bar franchises (Yard House, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc.), flat screens flood the walls, great music makes the vibe just that much better. I don't understand the super low reviews! Probably guys hating that the hot waitresses don't pay any mind to them. The food is typical bar food, only better. Definitely a great place for dinner with friends, watching the fights/games, and even a first date (breaks the ice with the unanimous rooting for the Lake Show, Dodgers, etc.). I highly recommend this place, great food, great prices on drinks, and a great ambiance. Obviously very extensively planned, every bit of the construction is impressive to even an Interior Design major like myself. Me and my girlfriends always go there for happy hour after a long day at work.

Was extremly excited to try this new spot in chino hills tonight but was extremely disappointed. The food was worst then your average bar food. I ordered the turkey burger and my friend had the mac and cheese burger. The turkey burger was mediocre, it came cold and fries tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. No longer crunchy and luke warm with no salt. But the mac and cheese burger was actually more disappointing. We were expecting to bite into a mouthful of delicious but extremely bad for you burger instead it didn't even trigger our tastebuds. Mac and cheese and bland and there was nothing else on the burger but the patty. Think it would have tasted better if you tossed Chef Boyardee's beefy mac n cheese on it. But the food wasn't what made me not want to return. It was the service. Our waitress came to us 3 times in our 2 hours of sitting down. And keep in mind it is Thursday, busy, but not that busy plus we did see her constantly passing our table but just not bothering to check on us. She came to order our drinks, order our food and tell us she was leaving for the night. She did try and fake the friendliness but we saw right through it when she said "how is your lovely night?" While looking another direction. It didn't even feel like she was talking to us. We were excited to get a new waitress but the next one was just as worse. Again didn't check up on us and very not genuinen when talking to customers. If I ever go back again, I'm going there strictly to drink and sit at the bar. No more dealing with awful waitresses. The bus boy was more helpful and nicer than the waitresses.

Came here during one of the Euro2012 soccer games and was able to catch the breakfast. Food - I ordered the protein omelette which was really good. However, I did not like the OJ. Who doesn't have freah OJ when they start servicing breakfast??? Service - Here is were Dillion really needs to improve their business. The waitress was not attentive; we had to keep looking for her in order to order more drinks. When we did order, it was taking a while to get to us. I have noticed on other trips, this place's service is 50/50. They have some really go bartenders who know their beers, and can make good recommendations. Other times, they are not personable unless you come by every other day. Lastly, I limit myself coming to Dillions on weekend nights, because the cops know about the place, and set up a lot of DUI stops around the area.

I've eaten here a couple of times. The chicken tenders were meaty but the after taste of oil didn't make it taste so good. That's pretty much the only thing I've eaten there. I usually come here for the drinks. Decent prices and the servers are friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. I guess that's why I'll keep coming back here....

There is certainly a market for what Dillion's provides. #1 Full Bar/Decent Beer Selection: Fellow Yelpers, please quick complaining about drink strength at corporate bars. Places like this have regulated pours. If you feel your drink is weak: a) Order a double, b) drink straight booze or c) switch to beer. #2 Plenty of T.V.s: If your a sports fan this spot is for you. Substantial amount of T.V.s #3 Scantily clad female bar staff: For those that go to bars to ogle women that would not otherwise talk you, this is your spot. #4 The food: seems like an afterthought, middle of the road an a bit pricey for what you get. Im not sure I will have Dillion's in mind as a go to place, but grab a brew and check out the ambience.

Great service. The staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. We came on Saturday afternoon to get some food. The food needs more dedication and creativity? We ordered simple things, and the taste wasn't what we were expecting. We didn't even finish our food, which is always an odd thing for us. We had beers, and I believe they had special for the 16 ounces. I can't quite remember the deal. But overall it's a nice place to hang out and drink, not to eat. Also, a guy was kicked out for drinking too much at 4 pm. SEE! A nice place to drink and not to EAT.

I wasn't expecting much from an "Irish pub" in Chino Hills. And even with my low expectations, they, somehow, still managed to disappoint. I came here on a Saturday night at 10:00p. BIG MISTAKE. I walked into, not an Irish pub, but a dance club/frat party with a restaurant. My friends and I ask for a table for four and they told us it would be an hour wait. Kind of ridiculous but fine, they were busy. I went up to the bar and ordered a pint of Guinness. She gave me a 22oz (probably couldn't hear me over LMFAO playing in the background). It was $5, so fine. I can't attest to the entire bar staff but the bartender that night was terrible and rude. We were seated and had a fantastic server (the reason why this is a 2-star review as opposed to a 1-star review). We ordered the mac n cheese sliders ($14) and avocado fries ($9). It was way too expensive for what it we received. The food was mediocre at best and are charging way too much for it. The place as a whole is pretty frustrating because it doesn't know if it's a restaurant, a bar, or a frat party. I refuse to call this place an "Irish pub" because I'm sure my Irish friends, along with my English friends, would disown me. I might go back to Dillon's if it's a weekday before 9p for their cheap beer. Other than that, no way. In short: Pros: Spacious Cheap beers Good servers (at least the one I had) Cons: Awful bartenders Awful atmosphere (typical IE) Expensive, mediocre food

Came here to check this place out one night since we always see it and have never been. We got here at around 10 and the bouncer checked our ids and we were in. Who knew a bar in chino hills would be so much fun! It was pretty packed and the music made me feel like I was at a frat party. There were no seats near the bar so we decided to just get a table. While waiting about 15 minutes for our table, we decided to stop by the bar to get some beers. A pint was 3 dollars and 5 dollars for the bigger one so of course we get the 5 dollar beers. Once we got seated, our server was very friendly and on top of everything. For food we ordered the Mac and cheese sliders (came with 4 sliders and fries) and the platter(came with 2 sliders, buffalo wings, calamari, and avocado fries). Both came out from the kitchen pretty quick and were both very delicious. Overall, fun place, great food, good ambiance, really good service, mixed crowds. We're definitely coming back!

Service was OK. Fish & Chips were rubbish. When you order a 22 oz beer, bar tender needs to fill it up to the rim not about 1.5cm off. Overall not a traditional Irish Pub, with authentic Irish food. Do not think i will go again. Maybe i am spoiled by the food and service at the Old Ship in Fullerton.

I can see why Dillion's has been getting a lot of hate. The service needs some work. They're new so the waiters seem to run about like chickens with their heads cut-off. We came here in mid May '12 for my friend's birthday. We had a decent sized party of about 8-10, but found seating the bar area right away, then eventually moved outside by the fire pit. It was a bit difficult to wave down a waiter to get our food and drink orders in, but it was a incredibly busy night. About 30 minutes later, our waitress comes by to tell us she's leaving for the night and brings by our new waiter. Our old waitress leaves, then comes back 10 minutes later in club attire with her friends and starts drinking at the table next to us. One rule about working at a bar: you don't drink at your own bar. I ordered a pint of Newcastle and their fish n chips for dinner. The Newcastle came out first, but took about 10-15 minutes to find me. The fish n chips were surprisingly good. It had a great crispy/doughy texture and the flavor was spot on. Naturally, I finished my Newcastle and asked for another; about 10 minutes later our waiter came back to tell me that they're out of Newcastle. Wow. I've never been told that a bar was out of a beer before. No problem. I'm not picky, so I asked for a Blue Moon instead. 5 minutes later she comes back with it; without looking, a take a swig and immediately new it was a Fat Tire. Again, no problem, I like reds too. Since I'm a relatively chill guy, I can let all this slide, but I can imagine some picky peeps getting boiled up over these repeated stumbles. The bill was reasonable, the atmosphere and decor was fantastic, service left much to be desired, and the food was solid.

I ask myself, WHY? Answer because I work in the mall and every-so-often someone I work with wants to go here. It's NEVER my idea. It's almost 2PM on a weekday, place is pretty empty. Service this time was average - which is better than most other times, which isn't saying much. Friend got the Dynamite salmon - $18. She loved it. My chicken breast was dry and tasteless, salted it 4-5 times to try to get some flavor in it to no avail - $12. $30 for lunch (plus tax plus tip) should buy me better food. Had to ask for the check, then had to ask for someone to pluuuueeezzze process my payment. Come on, we have to get back to work. Does anyone here understand a lunch HOUR?

My experience with Dillon's was where amazing meets terrible. I went on a Friday night with five of my friends and was able to find a table in the bar within two minutes of walking in the door. The hostesses were very friendly and that's always appreciated. After being seated a server didn't greet the table for nearly 20 minutes. It was okay because two of us got there earlier than everyone else and we spent time catching up, but still seemed a bit excessive. I decided to walk to the bar and ask if I should order with the bartender because we had been waiting for a while. She was very sweet, and took an order for our drinks. After pouring our beers she mentioned they were switching shifts so someone would be greet us soon. 10 minutes later we met our server and she was great. Seriously, this girl was on point. Soon after, our friends arrived and we ordered beer and appetizers. We ordered the Buffalo Wings and Mac and Cheese Sliders. The sliders were amazing and everything came out fast. At this point I'd have given them a Four Star Rating with my only complaint being it took 30 minutes to be greeted. Sadly, our server left without letting us know and after we'd been there an hour or so a new server walked up and in the kindest way I can say it, THIS GIRL HATED LIFE. I mean seriously, she was beyond rude and how much she hated working there just radiated off of her. Such a bummer to end the night on that note.

Drinks are average price. food is pretty good..must try the sliders. The bartenders here have major attitude and are permanently stuck on a frown face. That's the reason for my low rating and no desire to really come here often even though I live down the street. the music/dj is ok on the weekends.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would! The service was absolutely dreadful! I would never recommend this place to anyone and will not be returning myself. We had three awful encounters with workers there in one night. One girl who works there named Amanda tried to blame their horrible service on us, so that was my cue to leave and not waste my time or money on them. NEVER GO HERE!

I was there last Saturday night and were told we had to give up our seat to an older couple. Thing is they already had a seat down the bar! They are still ironing out their kinks but our experience was actually great! Food was good... I really liked the pizza. Nicki was our server and she was awesome. Smile on her face the entire time. We were there for about 4 hours and sat outside. The beers are about 3 dollars for a pint. Give them some time to settle in to their groove and I see dillons becoming really successful. I enjoyed my Saturday funday there.

The decor and entire feel of this place is much like a lot of Irish Pubs that I enjoy. But the price can be a little shocking for what is just otherwise "pub food". The cheeseburger with the mac-n-cheese is a neat innovation. But like all pub food, it is greasy and leaves you feeling like you need to order a side of antacid. The beer selections are pretty good. The waitresses are clad in kilt-like mini-skirts. In my opinion, Dillions is an Irish pub too big for its britches. I like my pubs intimate, but Dillions is quite large. It a great place to go with friends.

A decent bar with cheap beers and overall ambiance. the only thing i don't like about this place is its almost impossible to sit at the bar because its so small. i have come here around 4 and as late as 7 and i guess i have bad luck but always end up outside in the patio or in a booth when i just want a drink not food, i do like to sit at a bar once in a while. granted this place is in the shoppes so its already a high traffic area so ill give them the benefit of the doubt. i did find out there is another bar in the back but i guess is only open at a certain time, the last time i was there, the front bar was packed and most of the small tables around it, asked to go to the back bar they told me it wasn't open so instead of getting stuck out in the patio again i ended up at BJ's.

I wish I could give stars for specific items but sadly no.. 5 stars for wait service. We always choose to sit at the bar as so we are tended to in a timely manner, the gals have always been good to us. 5 stars for beer prices.. HELL YA I'm a cheap ass so serve me a good beer for a good price. 3 stars for food. For having an Irish name their Irish grub is not even close but I will say my chic pesto Sammie ROCKS.. My b/f had the steak and he stated it was Sizzler quality. So if your in for a large room filled with beer drinkers and peeps just having a good social time then this place will suit you but if you're hungry Id say eat elsewhere.

I tend to not review places based on one sole review, but because I was particularly curious about why this place received such bad reviews I wanted to express my own satisfaction on my first visit there earlier this evening. First, the decor was very nice (love the flame lit tables outside); second, the wait staff (including quite sexy kilt-clad waitresses) were both friendly and attentive; third, the food was very good, no complaints (in our party, we tried the lettuce wraps, fish & chips, avocado fries, and the Ahi salad); and lastly, the drinks were very refreshing (the celtic margaritas exhibited an interesting use of Jameson). Overall, it was a cool place with a fairly lively atmosphere (for a weekday evening). I am witholding a star only because there really isn't happy hour pricing on drinks and appetizers. However, I shall return to try the Celtic (and see the kilts) a few more times.

Been here for the first two opening weekends. All I can say is BUSY. Pretty mixed crowd and the atmosphere is definitely loud. There are two bars, one right as you walk in and the other in the very back. That one tends to be less crowded. There is one pool table but is always full and I guess during the busy hours, tables are reserved for those who are dining in. The patio offers some warm places to stand by and the beer selection is OK. They have a many of the standards as well as some brews from local Hangar 24. Sat down for some munchies and got the hummus appetizer and their house fries. Both were very good and the hummus comes with all you can eat pita bread. The fries were on the small side...only about the size of one large cut up potato. Staff was super nice and very attentive even though it gets like a madhouse during the later hours. The music and DJ change from the past two times I've been there offering a WIDE arrange of music. (Take that bad or good) and once the "dance floor" had tables set up with very annoyed looking people sitting at them.

I was a big fan of the OG location in Hollywood. This location is now my default watering hole. I never go on Fri or Sat because I hate crowds. During the rest of the week I've never had a problem getting a seat at the bar. Patrons are usually OK. One time there was a guy who was being obnoxious and they had to quiet him down, which he politely did. Bartenders have been friendly, and some are very attractive, which is always a plus. It would seem some people have had problems with service recently, but I've haven't had any problems. The food is all over the place though. They apparently have a new chef who is experimenting with the menu, so you never know what you are going to get. The lettuce wraps and corned beef are really good; the shepherds pie was all right, though I'm not really into shepherds pie FWIW. The artichoke used to be excellent; now it is not. The frustrating part is that the menu doesn't always reflect the dish that you'll be served. Once the food is sorted I'll add another star.

If i can give it a 0 star rating i would! I was there a friday night around 9:30 pm. It was slow and not that many people yet. I approach the bar with my girlfriend while my husband and my friend chit chat by the bar. This bartender, name Alyssa approach us and you can already tell by her attitude she doesnt want to help us. IDK WHY! so she takes the order from us. we order 2 micheladas. 5 minutes go by and i dont see her making our drinks, but yet she is taking other customers orders. Im staring and her and while i am looking at her she goes to her other co workers and i know she is talking about me and my friend. I dont remember her name. She comes and asks if we have been helped and i told her that yes but no, the girl alyssa took our drink but completely ignored us. She asked what did we order and i tell her and she replies with "why would you order that on a busy night?" i looked at her like, are you serious? ive been waiting for over 5 mins now and she is asking this. I told her if that is what i want, you should get what i want, im a customer. LIke really?? then she saids "well those take longer than usualy so it be a while"... what?!?! kidding me? BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I USED TO GO COUPLE TIMES A MONTH! MY BOSS HOSTS EVENTS AND NEVER AGAIN WILL WE HOST EVENTS THERE! THEY NEED TO LEARN HOW TO TREAT A CUSTOMER.

I heard all the hype about Dillon's so I wanted to give it a try. The interior was not what I expected (in a good way). The staff was friendly minus the bartender who served us. One star for a pub being in the area when I'm in town visiting my folks. Another one for having some BOMB baked mac & cheese for $5. Say what?! Why three stars you may ask? The whole 2 star description explains it all, "Meh. I've experienced better." Indeed, I've experienced WAY better at other places. I was disappointed after hearing all the hype about Dillon's from my friend's experience at the L.A. location. I LOVE beer and the fact that they didn't have a DECENT beer selection really put me down. I love drinking stouts & porters. And the closest they had was Guiness... Really? Remember the bartender I mentioned earlier? Long story short, she doesn't know her beers. Well you can't go wrong with $3 (not so great) beers... Hey, you get what you pay for, right?

Had a Half and Half and at $4 a good price. Prices are good. Appetizers are really good, my wife and I tried different ones. Lots of TVs and pool tables.

It was opening day on a Saturday AND St. Patrick's Day....So with all those factors, I thought the place was great! It was hard to get drinks and food however it wasn't because the staff was incompetent it was just crazy busy crowded. The decor is absolutely beautiful. I have been to the Dillon's in Hollywood and the food was sinfully delicious and the staff was friendly. I look forward to going back to our Dillon's when it's not soo crowded :)

Dillon's Irish Pub just had their grand opening this past St. Patrick's holiday so I knew that it was going to get packed and busy, especially on a Saturday night, and boy, was I right. There are two bars (one in the front and one in the back), one pool table, a good amount of seating area, and tvs that surround the entire place. I came with a group of friends around 10:30 pm and we decided to go towards the back of the pub, and that was the best decision we made! We immediately found seats and tables for a party of 10 and the bar at the end of the pub wasn't as busy and packed as the one in the front. We were able to get a good spot at the bar when purchasing drinks as well as getting the bartenders attention. Hence, I suggest you get there around 9:30-10:30 pm and sit at the end of the bar so your not squishing your way around. Shots of liquor range from $7-$9 and mixed drinks range from $8-$10. Quite frankly, I've had better drinks at other bars/lounges for the same price. Also, they're very sharing when serving liquor shots and mixed drinks. Overall, Dillon's is a great place to be at when you don't want to travel 30+ miles to LA.

I like it. Usually head over to watch Football (or now) Hockey. Its nice, has a nice feel, good it good and they have a lot of TVs. I go on Sunday Mornings or in the evening... a nice happy hour menu. Food is good, the people/servicers are nice. Over all I plan to return throughout Hockey and Football seasons. Nice neighborhood place for me. Cheers!

had like 2 beers there and got it served to me with an attitude. i guess beers are five bucks and a free side of attitude with every order!!! about an hour later i got very ill to where i had to go in and doctors said i had a bacterial infection in my stomach. i had not eaten anything that day so i know it was the beers. besides, the doctors said this type of bacterium sets in an hout to two hours. service was less than impressionable.... ok it sucked. i went back the following week and told them what had happenned to me and the owner which is not irish by the way says to me .. too bad you want a drink or what ? this was the last time i will ever go there.!!!!!!!! been there a couple of times before and the food is not good, the service mediocre at best but usually really slow service , and for what you get, it is really pricy food with the portions being really small. i thought i would give it a third try because i really wanted to like it so i could have a hang out place but it got me sooooo sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so my advise to you out there is RUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya got me at ALL DAY bottomless mimosas. I believe it was $10 or a little less. Came in around 3 or 4pm on a Sunday. Hardly any customers, but there was a basketball game going on. Anyways, despite the lack of customers, my group wasn't getting refills on our mimosas as often as we would have liked. Kept reaching the bottom. So much for "bottomless" mimosas. We would wait and wait and wait.....The waitress even started being skimpy with the orange juice and refilling only with champagne! Even more, at one point, the waitress told us that the bottomless mimosas were ending soon for the day. Excuse me??? We then informed her that the sign out front had indicated "ALL DAY." Someone had apparently altered the sign after we were seated. After she spoke to her manager, we were allowed to continue with our bottomless mimosas for the remainder of our stay. Place is nice, but service needs to be improved. Also, the short Irish skirts aren't quite fitting for some of the staff, just saying.

Good service. Beer selection is just ok, but they have Arrogant Bastard which is my favorite. Eaten the food 3 times and the food was only good the second time I came here. Had the lamb burger this time, the meat was ok but it lacked the cilantro ingredient it was supposed to have and the bun was one of the worst I've ever have been served. The bun was not toasted, it was dense, very crumbly and it was dry. With much better food and bar choices in Chino Hills, I'm done with this place.

    (2)
  • Steph W.

If you're just looking for a place to grab a beer with your friends, you have found your place in Chino Hills. All beers on tap are only $3...ALL DAY. That's amazing...but probably not so good for your liver. ;)

Decor is beautiful! Wait staff is super friendly and helpful. I would go there again in a heartbeat...to hang and and have some drinks. The three stars I gave are strictly for the atmosphere and service. The food was pretty disappointing. I went with some family for a mother's day dinner. They had a "special" menu that night. I ordered scallops and sauteed spinach for my appetizer (way too salty), braised lamb shanks for my entree (good but not special) and their Irish bread pudding (a bit bland and soggy). If it didn't cost $40/person I may not have been as disappointed but it was so incredibly overpriced for what we got. I will not be eating there again.

Wow Dillon's is a great addition to shitty ol chino hills (it doesn't even smell like cows.) I first went here on st Patty's day...a bar wost nightmare and hey it was busy, nothing their team can do! Went here for my third time last weekend for breakfast so it's fair time to write a review... I had a fun waitress by the name of Michelle who said the bread pudding French toast was a life changing experience lol so how could i say no... Long story short, check it out it's a fun spot...cold beers, fun girls and school girl outfits! Cheers

I went here for my sister's birthday tonight with a big group and it started out great but quickly turned bad. I ordered a beer and toward the end of my beer there was a large shard of glass in the bottom of my beer. I told the waitress and she told the manager Anthony. He took the one beer off our $100+ bill. I asked to see the manager because I didn't think that was enough (it wasn't a hair or bug). He came over with a cocky attitude saying "what do you think I should do?!" After going back and forth he said he would cover half the bill. Overall he was very unprofessional and I won't be going back to Dillon's.

It was a girls night out last Saturday and we decided to stop by for drinks around 10:30p after having dinner at Ra. I can only comment on the environment and drinks. Atmosphere: loud and crowded but a cool place to go to hang out with friends Drinks: initially ordered a Sidecar but the bartender didn't know what that was, then I ordered something easy (same bartender) - lemon drop martini... I guess it wasn't that easy because it was not good at all. So we decided to try a very simple drink and ordered a vodka and cranberry juice, which was fine but was so miniature sized that it was gone in about two sips. Apparently mixed drinks are not their specialty, or maybe it was just this bartender. I'd try this place again but for dinner, so hopefully I'll have a better experience.

Came here as part of a girls night out recently. We wanted to have a drink before we had to be at our reservation at Ra that's inside the mall. When we went in we had no idea it was a UFC or whatever fight night and that we would have to buy a $20 gift card EACH just to get inside. We only wanted ONE drink, not over $100 worth of drinks. Needless to say we left and came back after the stupid fight was over and by then the place was packed and the waitresses seemed to be really overwhelmed, for the price of the drinks it really wasn't worth the time. We ended up going to a club in Pomona where we had way more fun and the drinks were much cheaper.

The atmosphere outside is nice and the inside is much more spacious than the one in LA. The service here is pretty bad though. They're super slow at bringing up your food order unless you're here in the day time. But their drinks are on point, extra liquored up for you so you know they're pretty strong. I like that they don't jip you on that. And you can't go wrong with $3 beers, so it makes up for their lack of service.

This is a Saturday night/bar review- not about the restaurant. Dillon's need to make up their minds about what they are. And get a clue about how to run a "club" if that's what they want to be. Logistically this place is a nightmare. They put the DJ (and his "posse") right next to the bar. So you have people trying to dance right on top of people trying to stand in line to get a drink. Along with DJ Nitwits crew passing by every 5 minutes to get behind the velvet rope. (Oooh, VIP in Chino dog- you're special). Move the freaking rope, close down that part of the bar- and take the tables out. That makes what they call a "dance floor". You've probably seen one of those before. Plus the crowd is just lame. I've never seen so many people stand still in the middle of a dance floor. (For the most part the music was good- certainly danceable. Hip-hop/house mix). They looked like lost sheep in a pasture unsure of where to go or what to do. DJ Nitwit can scream "put your motha-bleeping hands up" all he wants- it ain't happening and neither is Dillons. I suppose if you want to just have drinks it is large enough to get a table and do that. I will say for once the scantily clad bartenders were actually pretty good- so I'll give them a thumbs up. But overall it just felt gimmicky, ill-run and pretty dull.

I have been here a few times for dinner and drinks, drinks were very cheap and food was just okay. Nothing special at all, had the hummus and it was just like you can buy at Albertsons. Saw that they just opened for breakfast so we came to check out their breakfast menu and watch some football. The breakfast menu had about 5 things on it and it all came a la carte. Friendly but very slow service which generally if I am having a drink I can handle while I watch the game. There is no "Sunday funday" drink menu, which was very disapointing. Coming from the daughter of a restaurant owner this is no place I want to come back to for Sunday Football.

Been here a couple times. So far the service was sub par. Went in today 1/26/13 for breakfast that is only available on Saturdays and Sundays. The food was delicious. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because of the staff. The waitresses all look like hooters rejects and all have a prissy attitude. It was not crowded or even close to busy yet I received poor service. As a server I sympathize others in the same line of work; however, all of the staff have awful attitudes and I do not plan to return for a while.

Popped in at Dillon's tonight for a try. Nice atmosphere. The wifey and I ordered Margaritas... about 15 min later they finally came and where horrible. We returned them in exchange for 2 coronas. Coronas were nice & cold, but... tasted like they had been heat cycled. We ordered our food and about 30 min later we finally got our food. At this point I am thinking the place is under staffed as when the waitress would walk away she would disappear 10 - 15 minutes at a time. I ordered and Ice Tea as the "Drinks" we feel like we struck out. Got my Iced tea and no sweetener and yes.... I waited almost 20 min for the waitress to bring me sweetener. Not sure why there was none at all the tables. Long story short if you go there to watch a game and very slow service is not an issue then this could be a possibility. But if your like me and expect some service when you go to a restaurant / Bar then maybe not such a great choice.

Came to Dillion's with my gf today and we had the lettuce wraps, they were good nice sauce. Then we shared the veggie burger, the patty was good and we didn't get the house sauce instead we did BBQ. The wheat bun was really dry, which changed the eating experience for us. All together we enjoyed it but not on the top of my list for food.

Very cool inside and patio. Food is alright. The only problem I have with this place is douche bags are attracted to this place. Never fails on a busy night people pick fights here. I don't have time for that shit. I wounldn't mind going here for lunch. I'll never come back on nights.

Great prices on drinks, yes. Great prices on food? No, not at $13 for fish and chips with the tiniest pieces of fish I've ever seen--maybe they were made by Tiny Elvis? ("Wow, look at the size of them fish sticks, those are HUGE!"). They brought out a quesadilla next, which was plenty big, but the condiments were in tiny plastic dishes--at $13 an entree, you'd think they'd be less sparing. The little bit of food we had was tasty, though.

We came here after we had dinner 5 minutes away. It's nice if you're looking for a bar that has music and food. My husband had a beer with our friends and it was a nice place to sit down and hang out. It's hard to have a conversation without yelling at each other because the music was quite loud. They had a patio area for smokers and a small dance floor area near the DJ. We sat in the back where there were tables for people who were eating. It was pretty dark back there; I don't know if that area was closed or if that's how it is normally.

Came here with not too many expectations given the location of this place. Its in a shopping center similar to Victoria Gardens. We walked in and it was pretty crowded. There were a lot of people and way in the back there was a dance floor with the younger kids were dancing away. Nothing to complain about, cheap drinks...beer is $5 and good place to hang out with friends.

Besides the bad reviews, my old HS girlfriend and I decided to try this place out last night to catch up on old times. Overall we had a pleasant experience. They waitress was nice and always checked in on us. I love margaritas and I ordered their Celtic margarita which is made with whiskey instead of tequila and it was pretty damn good. We ordered appetizers and they were pretty good as well. Don't knock it till you try it!

Beers are 3 bucks for a pint! Place is clean and at the shops. Only go during lunch time never at night so cannot comment about the crowd, since at lunch place is empty! Food is average nothing id go out of my way for but overall I like the place.

We decided to give this place another chance, that was a bad idea! It took 45 min to get our food. My friend got garlic noodles with shrimp. We both thought it was really bland and just tasted like noodles. So we asked the waitress for alfredo sauce to put on it and 20 mins went by and no sauce. Finally we asked about it and she said she forgot. wow. By the time she got some sauce for her bland food, her food got cold. Out of the 16 beers they had, they were out of the two I wanted to drink. This place is just bad. Maybe I'll give it another try in a year or two to see if there is a new manager or staff.

Service is getting worse and safety on weekends is becoming an issue. Some really good bartenders have left and this looks like a problem with the management of this once nice spot in Chino Hills. I am glad that there is RA and Yardhouse close bt and soon there will be a Tilted Kilt close by, Bartender Nicky has left and so has Kimberly, two of the brighter spots in Dillon's.

Horrible horrible horrible service.... did I mention horrible service? Server could not tell me what seasonal Sam Adams was on tap, and could not answer what Red Ales you had by my friend. Took well over ten minutes to get the first beer order in and another ten after we ordered to receive them. In an empty bar on a slow wed night. Food was so/so but after the bad service mediocre food seemed good to us. Now comes the issue of getting and paying out bill.... waitress disappeared and had to track down a bus boy to try and find someone to get us our bill, after the 20 minute wait after our plates were cleared we received the check, we had cash in hand ready to bolt outta the joint and the server disappeared again, by the time out change had arrived it had been two hours to get two pints and a crappy burger. I will never return to this place and urge every single person I know to stay away.... I can only imagine how awful this place must be if it ever gets busy. If I could rate this place a ZERO based on service I would..... good luck Dillion's

This place is a great time if you wanna socialize and dance! Every time I go here I have an awesome time. The food is good and they have added to their wine menu! The bodyguards are super nice as well as the waitresses. There is no cover so I would recommend to be prepared to wait if you go late on a Friday or Saturday night. It is in a really nice area and the place attracts a beautiful crowd.

Not my scene. Young crowd. One of the people in my party almost got into a fight. It's typical 909ers. The place is new and it's really nice looking. It's definitely got that irish vibe but it lacks that intimate ambiance or lounge feel that you find in sexy bars.

Dillons is the closest bar to me and they don't disappoint. They had you favorite IPA on tap and the beers are pretty cheap, not to mention that the staff is friendly and accommodating.

I really wanted to like this place. It didn't work out. There are a few good things but the bad really outweigh the good. I'll start with the good. Our server Maya was wonderful. She was very professional and did her best to keep up in a very chaotic setting. The atmosphere is nice for a group of friends on a weekend night. That sums up the good. Now the bad...management. I truly believe that all of the things that are wrong with this place start with management. I understand it's a fairly new place, but a patron is a patron whether it's day one or day three hundred. We waited over 2 hours for a table after being told it would be around an hour. We probably still would be waiting if we hadn't ask to speak with the manager. We ordered appetizers that we didn't see for almost an hour. I actually saw our appetizers go to 2 other tables before they made it to ours. The staff was very confused and completely unorganized. We understand that the manager can't work miracles. Sometimes a customer just wants a few courteous words and an explanation. That's what makes a manager in a restaurant setting. The manager we dealt with didn't seem to have it together. She seemed frustrated and overwhelmed. It carried over when she spoke to us and she came across a little abrasive. Since the manager wasn't cool, calm, and completely in control, it was very easy to see why everything else was in disarray. The place has potential, but it's not run by the right people. The staff overall is very pleasant, but they need better structure, guidance, and chain of command so that things can move efficiently. I hope this place succeeds, but for now I'll wait a while before I recommend it to others.

This was the first and the last time at this restaurant. For me any place you go to, it should be about the service and food and drink. I didn't order any alcohol so I can only speak about the food & service. Both were sub-par. Sub-par service because after our order we didn't see her nor did she keep our drinks full. Food was terrible! I ordered the fish & chips which was on their "specialty" part of their menu? I thought it was really greasy & not much flavor. We also ordered a kobi burger. I also thought it was greasy.

Got invited to come here to celebrate a Birthday, didn't know what to expect. In fact never even heard of the joint. Looked it up on Yelp and was surprised by some reviews. Personally, I liked the place. I didn't have any food so this is just for the nighttime atmosphere and it was good. Security does their job checking everyone, nice guys. Bartenders do their job keeping everyone's thirst quenched and with the crowd of people there it was impressive, no one waited to be served for long at all and that's a definite plus, negative star because we couldn't drink outside in the patio area, I asked security and due to some "incidents" they had to close off the patio to drinking, bummer. We didn't see any of that "unscrupulous" crowd the night we were there. I will definitely be back to try some of the food, from what I saw pass by me in between drinks...looks good. It does get crowded with people and they take the bar stools from the bar away at 10pm so get their early and find a table if you're not a standing person, otherwise have some fun & enjoy.

This place is alright... The food tastes like microwaved frozen food.. I would honestly only come here for a drink, otherwise if you're planning on eating I wouldn't come here.
